Cunners just asked Emily Gosden (telegraph) what will she do if DL proves them wrong and the find is good. I suspect they will apologise then cover the front pages with it and sell a few million more papers. ie: they can't really loose?
It takes two to tango! The media frenzy re HH was/is OTT. Good luck to the day traders who took their opportunity to make big profits. Thats AIM all over though. Everyone read far too much into DL's recent interview and the press leapt on it for their subsequent sensational headlines. Now they're having to backtrack somewhat they're blaming DL for their hype. They do say no publicity is bad publicity. Lets hope so. Im an active investor in REM and LGO so have a vested interest as all here do. GLA
All depends on what they invest the money in, if they get 2million , invest it and achieve over the next 6 months a 20million asset then it's worth it isn't it?, SP go's up, your investing your hard earned money here on AIM in trust in the BOD in that they create a bigger value out of the investment, simples
I did know there were 6bn plus shares on issue. But was not aware of the track record of DL issuing new shares over the last few years. Reference totalwealth's post at 0857. If the number of issued shares remain static for a given asset I agree that it does not matter whether there are 100 or a million. But if more shares issued then surely that means dilution and less value per share?
I didn't see those tweets but as cunners has just said, he will prob turn it round quickly as he knows what he has got, and have them eating out on his hands, hopefully before Rem hits and he flies over the pond!
