Ber Bahr was studied from satellite using Remote Sensing Direct Detection of Hydrocarbons (RSDD-H) technology pre-drill This covered the entire Ber Bahr block, part of which is now inaccessible because of a large reservoir. This was possible because some satellite data had been obtained from before the construction of the reservoir.

The only satellite-enabled "indicator" images in the public domain are those for that part of the block immediately around the BB-1 well location.

Not sure whether they're still out there but the related images of Shaikan and Ber Bahr were posted on iii and Dalesmann's site. There was also a Youtube video of Peter Hutchinson (I think that was his name) referencing BB and the 'technology' behind the surveillance results.........

If memory serves me well, I recall BB1 was drilled in a sub optimum location. I'm NM and / or GRH-1 know a lot more on that as I believe - via Scotforth - they did some surveillance (not sure what the terminology is!) of the block.

NM - over to you.................

Hats off to Troajan!

I've been trying to find some amusing lol response to what you've said, but I reluctantly I have to admit that I'm completely stumped.

I think you've said it all.

MOL AGM this week...They had FDP approved last year? Supposed to be producing minimum of 35 000 bopd this half year? Expected to have Pipeline up running 2016. Taqa will produce 40,000 bopd H2 .

Wonder what GKP's stake in AB is really work. Taqa paid $600 million for how much of Atrush https://www.bullstreet.se/assets/Atrush-PSC.jpg

AB and Atrush . Cant see that GKP as no value in AB Block...One issue I do have is how Genel were allowed to be the operator of BB block, when they are not capable of drilling the block on Time, The operatorship should have gone to GKP when Genel Enregi merged with Rothchilds little project. Was .BB well drilled in the wrong place? How could it be a commercial discovery on one bogded up well drilled , which cost GKP shareholders $10 million paid to the KRG MNR

I would be in hiding abroad if I was a Bazarni or a MNR person or is the money just in hiding?

As you said in a post previously Keep eyes on Dana Gas ,Pearl, MOL, OMV arbitration this month? What excuse will the MNR come up with this time, I believe Paul Signer once seized assets overseas when they could not get money owed...Mind you he his a bit of a Vulture and knows Kurdistan inside out

Best of luck, I am sure you can appreciate, each to their own, in an always difficult game...and a market that changes like the direction of the wind.
I am looking forward to the challenge next week to try and make a few quid.
All the best.
