Thanks I feel slightly better. All in all there is a mixed bag of information. I am not going to say the SP has stabilised. I just hope I am still around when this share comes good. I'm keeping away from ladders for a bit too.
As you can see the stock will be down 4-6% today, due to the extra financing cost but also as markets across the world are down today. The stock will rebound as more information becomes available on the new satellite. When will it generate revenues and how much revenue? How much does it cost? When it comes down to it, after all the refinancing, there will be an extra maybe £10m-15m per year in interest payments. Not a huge amount in the grand scheme of things and perhaps why the market cap has lost about this much. If revenues this financial year are expected to be £42m, i would think AVN will maybe breakeven if you exclude the depreciation charges. All-in-all, i think we need more details on todays news before making any conclusions.
Yes I could make some money by giving advice and then just do the complete opposite ! Glad you are OK after your fall . Yes I still really do feel that AVN will deliver in the end and the sp price will get to 5 or 6 quid but like you say holding this blessed thing is not good for one's health. We do deserve some profit for our troubles !
Am I living in a parallell universe where the exact opposite happens than logic dictates. Whenever I buy into something it instantly goes down and the second I sell it goes up. I have to be the worse investor in history. Ha ha !
Sorry to hear that E. I'm feeling the same and wish I had cashed in at £2.57 but felt I needed a bit more compensation for all the years I've aged holding this. The refinancing package will allow the directors to increase there salaries too so its not all bad news is it?
Yes fell off but thought rather than a straight fall I'd sort of slide down the wall on my back and elbows and remove a few layers of skin. Going to hack at those bloody brambles again and vent my frustrations over what is going on here.
