Is it possible to pool together some serious pi's under an umbrella to force more accountability of the board? Or at least recognition of their holdings and potential?

Maybe the lack of ii are giving SN the power here to update us when he can be bothered rather than when he probably should be esp with operational updates.

T,
we got an RNS,but not thee RNS,so that bet is off.

Mole is right. Some individuals have serious holdings, i have 10m (wish they were at Mole's average price!), between us PIs we carry an abnormal amount of clout for a company of this nature. It is also the main reason why the share has been pretty immune to shorting attacks and delays in RNSs etc. The good part is that when the institutions want to get involved they are going to have to pay true value and we will get rewarded for our patience.

But they are also just below the reporting level! Punky has the list from here. But that's exactly my point - I own 18.4 m at the moment. Between 5 or 6 of us we cold well have more than Outrider. So that leaves SN and Elmar. That is why they should be listenning to the PI's and Cairn must know that by now from their research. The high number of PI's is also why it can be volatile - they do seem to have lost long term II equity holders.

Fronterra website

Just gone onto the website http://www.fronteraresources.com/investors/securities-information/
to have a look at the holdings shown on there. Based on that which looks very different to last year we have SN, Elmar and Outrider with about 15% in total and 10% not in public hands. Its no showing YA (have they sold or just below the reporting level?) or any other large holders (presumably above 3%) which suggests to me that what we learnt from the AGM vote looks true that PI's own a large part of this company. I have heard people suggest today that is not the case - but the data has been marked as updated in April presumably post todays announcement as the 4.19% for Outrider matches. If there are II they don't own much.
