trial news?
12 Apr '13
on the basis that whotme only ever posts anything remotely negative and overstates it as likely to cause the imminent bankruptcy of BP, can I assume that the trial is currently looking favourable to BP? There were some great views on the progress of the trial posted here until recently - has anyone continued to monitor it from a position of being able to offfer any insightful interpretations?

Certainly in the link you posted there was no mention of women and other minority groups. And for the life of me ai cannot see why the shareholders would care.
It is a business and hopefully this means appointing the best people for the job and not allocating jobs according to their sex or colours or specifically in accordance with the number of people in any given group.Otherwise red indians woukld have to be given all the jobs available as there are not many of them

Women and 'other minority groups'? Since when have women been the minority? Crikey.

But yeah, BP do need to do more to up their game, and their share price, especially with markets well over 6000 for a long time now. 450 is a joke Bob.

Standard Life shocks BP AGM with vote against pay and bonuses
One of the City's biggest institutional investors calls on BP to 'raise its game' as it votes against remuneration report

The investment house called on BP to "raise its game" and said it should do more to promote the interests of women and other minority groups.

Hi Mal, I used to be around 15.10, (thankfully now around 14) but unlike you, am only 5'10" tall and waist was never more than 38". Are you telling porkies about the 15.10 mate?
