Is it your intention to be a champion poster..why do you constantly post one after another, it's boring. If you are so cyt up about Bp then fair enough but stop bleeting on.The americans complain about Bp and how they should pay for their crimes, they are paying, they have cleaned the gulf, unfortunately they cant bring the eleven workers back who lost their lives. That is the nature of this work ,accidents happen , it's a way of life ,move on.
As for most americans they rely on Bp for their investments and pensions, Pot kettle black.
In the 13 years of Labour AFTER Mrs T not a single industry is re-nationalised, nor a single revoke of Trade Union laws has been enacted, etc. etc. despite Labour having a huge majority. The fall of Mrs T. had one good result, Ben Elton was reduced to talking about tampons and garbage before emigrating to OZ.
...of being despised, I have to say that Mrs.T did what she felt was the right thing and had the strength of character to carry her beleifs forward, regardless of what others felt.
The very fact that we, the worlds press are all discussing her, proves that she was a huge important figure in her lifetime.
Had she had still been in power, I doubt she would have tolerated so very many immigrants coming into our land to breed us into the poverty they assumed that they had left behind.
The EU laws would have been changed by her, and not used as a feeble excuse for us having to suffer the ills of much of the worlds unwanted coming here to better their lives at the costly expense of the real British peoples.
Which brings me to my final point. It is fine to make the ill work to their capactiy, it is fine to get the single parents back into work as soon as practical, and it is fine to make the old work longer if able.
YET why do it when there are millions unemployed, or on short part time work, and the UK is filled with our own fit, strong, healthy young, dossing around, and now half the 3rd worlds dross doing similar, and commiting the most vile crimes as our 'thanks' for letting them stay?
I could understand the need IF there was full employment, and we were running low on able bodies, but we are far from that.
To me, it's like in the War, first you send off the young strong and fit to fight, and ONLY when you are running low, or needing more to you get the unfit, the old, and women involved.
Mass immigration has ruined this land, not for a while as war does, yet FOREVER. That is not the imm's fault, as you can't blame them coming, but similarly you can't blame the hatred and resentment from the British, which will get worse as the real reason for the UK's slide in standards of life in all things slowly, sinks in. It is the Governments treachory of it's British people. Vote UKIP next time, sure it is too late, yet it may slow the decline into the cess pool.
So you think that if somebody is on DLA, they are totally incapable of working at all? Truly disabled people refuse to be badged as such, and get on with their life. If Tanni Grey Thompson can do what shes done, then why cant somebody in a similar position sit at a desk typing for 8 hours a day?
Theres a massive difference between cannot work, and find it more difficult than would be ideal, or cant be bothered. As I say, most people on DLA are genuine, and most people are hard working and honest in general, but youre really denying that there isnt a relatively high number of people who simply refuse to make an effort in life? Youre as deluded in this area, as you are with BP :)
I'm not saying that £50 a week is a lot, its far from it. Even if when you're on the dole you also get council tax benefit, and various others, including maybe a council house, which usually costs 25% that of a private rental. Being on benefits isn't easy living, of course not. It shouldnt be though, as its should be a short term tide you over, not be a lifestyle. Im sorry mate, but how many people claim DLA, making themself out to be a total invalid, saying that they cant work in any form, and yet can go on holiday, go shopping, go to a restaurant. If you can leave your house freely, you can leave your house to go to a job, even something basic. Bottom line. How many people are so disabled that they cant function at all? 10% of those living on DLA I reckon. Those who genuinely cant work should be looked after, 110%. We are a civilisation, afterall. The problem is though, why would somebody work 40 hours a week for min wage of £1000 a month, which Id argue is plenty up here in the north at least, when they can get £250 in dole, £100 a month in council tax benefit, £500+ a month off their rent via a council property, free dentistry, free prescriptions. Very quickly, you're getting to where you're pretty much earning the same as minimum wage, which many of those who are of a benefit mindset would only get anyway, for sitting on your backside claiming 'depression' etc. Its not easy no, but its easier than working if you dont have morales, or crucially, see it as 'your right', because your parents did it, its available, so how wrong can it be? Its normality, surely? Then you have all the other benefits which absolutely everybody gets, even those who work/earn a good salary, such as child benefit, which strangely, those who get usually dont consider themselves as benefit recipients?! Benefit scroungers are not overly common though, and most people are decent, hard working, and conscientious, but even many of those tend to consider themselves hard done to, paying an average of £100 a week in income tax, only to get free NHS for life, endless public services, and schooling for their kids, all for free. £100 a week doesnt cut it though.
Benefits should be short term, and a bridge between hardship and getting yourself back on your feet. End of story. As for free for all benefits like child benefit.... dont get me started on that one. Paying somebody for their life choices?! Please!! If you cant afford to have them/rely on handouts in order to do so, then dont have them, like anything else in life really.
Im not fooled about benefits at all mate. I just know for a fact that too many of them are given to too many people, even those who can actually cope without them. The economy wont improve for a while mate, and thats something which people need to grasp pretty fast. The days of free spending are done. Companies, Governments, Joe Public, the lot. Time to live to ones means, not
dont be fooled about state benifits ..iwas on the dole a few months back ,let me tell you i was on 120 a fortnight ..im now back in work working bloody hard for 185 a week ,its better than dole money ,,but it hurts concidering i was earning £700 a week not long back ,,these companys got you by the balls and taking advantage that their aint much work about nowadays ..and cheap labour from eastern europe dont help ,
