There really isn't much to say. Aviva was my worst performing share over the last financial year. Including dividends and price loss, between 5th April 2012 and 5th April 2013, it returned me -23%, yes that is a minus. However I have not sold and am investing a little more as I can, so I'm obviously still hopeful.
It is clear from lack of activity on this board that we have all almost given up on share price recovering anytime soon. I am in the same place, let it be and forget about the share price for the next year and hope it goes back up! Don't like it, having shares is suppose to be exciting as well, we need some positive news to talk about.
Regarding Tesco: I sold a few months ago. Banco Espirito Santo downgraded the share to sell in December. I think they completely misread the business and the market. Food retailers have done well over the last quarter. I do believe the new management team in Aviva will improve the company's performance. Shareholders just have to wait..
