This subject always makes me smile, especially when the bashers jump on it as if its a negative!

Without this funding deal ECR would have a monumental struggle trying to go forward with the Itogon resource estimate, not only does it provide the funds for the prior drilling etc, but it also gives ECR access to funds to follow through with the mining licence and fees to TGR for the 50% earn in rights......if/when they need it!! *(?)*

The mining industry has been on one big bear run for a number of years as we all know, and small company`s like ECR have had an uphill struggle to find backers who believe in them, to stump up the cash so that they don`t have to worry about paying their costs while they prove up what they`ve got...and many have gone to the wall the world over.
With us its a dripfeed of dilution, so what.....slowly slowly catchee monkey!

Keep bashing this deal as much as you like derampers, because what you are doing is actually carrying a big banner saying `WE`VE GOT FUNDS`!

All small miners need funding, in whichever way, and plenty that went down the pan would love to have been in ECR`s position.

SLM and MGA still have value too, to the `right` company!!!

SLM is still there, it hasn't been mothballed or anything like it.

The BoD will consider their approach, and let Esperanza sit and stew. If they want it, they're going to have to pay proper money.

YA did the job

Sept 2014 ECR announce $10m YA deal the single biggest headline deal for an exploration company of ECR's size and negotiated by Clayson

$2.50M used for expensive drilling via QED

How on earth are exploration companies expected to prove up a resource without funds please ??

YA have backed ECR and they have taken shares and profit for it - simple

ECR have demonstrated the use of the money in Itogon now being ready for the NI-143 and the expensive loan conversions are over for now until next year so what's the problem ?

Have ECR done what they said they would do with Itogon - yes

So with Claysons expertise in getting YA to the table which is way beyond anyone here lets face it, surely has the creditability once the NI-143 is delivered to seek the II's the crowd shouts for eh?

In a few months YA will be gone through conversions and if Clayson attracts the attention of the right people the challange ahead is made so much easier

The real journey starts now

Come on! Saying "WHEN we hit 0.05" is as unrealistic as someone saying 4 weeks ago "when we hit 0.07", when the SP was 0.12.
