BP faces August 2014 trial on shareholders' Gulf spill claims
A U.S. civil trial has been set for Aug. 25, 2014, regarding accusations that BP Plc committed fraud by misleading shareholders before and after the 2010 Gulf of Mexico oil spill about its ability to respond to the accident. BP faces August 2014 trial on shareholders' Gulf spill claims
The jury trial was scheduled by U.S. District Judge Keith Ellison in Houston on Tuesday.
Shareholders led by the New York State Common Retirement Fund and four Ohio pension funds claimed to lose up to 40 percent of their investments within six weeks of the April 20, 2010, explosion of the Deepwater Horizon drilling rig.
He is not paid ... anyone know that, so he as an independent Canadian - can't you read? tell you what I'll repost it ...

..."which I realise and know that he is wrong and I submit them under his advice,I AM IN THE WRONG QED"
... No, the law is quite clear, the taxpayer bears ALL the responsibility for the accuracy or otherwise of the return. You may be professionally punished, but the taxpayer holds responsibility in law for their tax return, THEY are making the declaration, NOT you, they ask for assistance but finally, they alone hold the responsibility ... you really should have known that!!
BP's Bob Dudley Dodges Trial Specifics In Speech To Oil Industry Faithful
Dudley spoke only a little bit about the Deepwater Horizon issue. He says BP has spent $24 billion on the response, clean-up and paying claims. On the ongoing trial he said only that “We are vigorously defending the company, but we are determined to make our case in the courtroom and not in the press. We believe the law and the facts are on our side, and we have faith in the legal system.” No wonder he canceled his press conference.
Had a good day today, Vodafone up, Aviva up, & Tesco up. I had hoped that BP would have dropped, so I could buy in at cheap price. However I feel that if it was it would have already be around 430, so I am seriously thinking that it may have hit it's low at 445 / 450. I have looked at all the data regarding BP and it's future plans, and feel that BP could reach 550/ 600 by the summer of 2014.So with this in mind I shall buy in very soon.

Hi whotme "So, if I get a cement company in to build my kitchen extension, and tell them to make the cement too loose, and they do as told, and my house falls down, is that my fault for giving bad advice, or their fault as the expert, for doing something was was destined to fail, taking advice from somebody who pays them to know better"... You spell it out the expert must be at fault he is paid to be an expert and if he acts against his own advice he is at fault I am a chartered accountant .if my client advises me to submit his tax returns which I realise and know that he is wrong and I submit them under his advice,I AM IN THE WRONG QED
