of course we don't know much but what we do know isn't promising ... hence Bill not buying any shares, perhaps why PJ left ...... I've been reading about Triple Plate Junction recently as well. I suggest others here do as well ...... if you were running a company and had an AGM to delist from AIM ... would you have that meeting on December 31st?
So Bill came in `because they offered him some money`... ha ha ha thats a cracker, you think he wants to finish his career with`failure` on his CV after the sort of challenges he`s been involved in over decades!! He must be a millionaire anyway so a few bob for retirement would be an insult to himself, no, he wants to go out with another success!
Stop wishing others lose money like you have, its not a good side of your character, as faceless as you are.
a few recent comments are enlightening ... so after arguing for months or years that impending reults were going to be transformative and send the share price into orbit, they're now being belittled.... all the predictions ".20 by the end of the week" etc. ... why did Bill come in? ... er probably because he was offered some money. Seen any evidence of him buying shares? So ECR no longer needs an accountant on the BOD? ... because they have replaced him with a Geologist ... ha ha ha ... like saying "we sold our goalie but it doesn't matter as we signed a new physio"
SLM doesn't care if ECR is listed on AIL, the FTSE or a Stock Exchange in another solar system. Bearing in mind the number of gold exploration AND production companies that fail, this repeating of the mantra that everything will come good with ECR is laughable. I had to laugh when the old chestnut was exhumed yesterday "but there ARE IIs holding loads of ECR shares" and then went on to list all the nominees holding shares ... Barclays etc. .... the likes of whom did my 1,234 trade earlier Nominees trade on our behalf. There are other divisions of banks that invest "institutionally" ..... just saying "this is AIM" makes as much sense as me posting "well, that's this bit of the spiral arm of the galaxy for you1" ... ECR is an easily manipulated share and therefore attracts "certain types"
DW, Your questions are largely ridiculous because we don`t know the exact answers, you`re just throwing a negative spin on things for your entertainment. As examples I will respond to a few....
1. What ARE ECR's assets anyway? A RIGHT to a 50% buy in at Itogon. What's that worth? Answer. We don`t know what its worth because they haven`t completed the resource estimate yet, more results pending. Blind question.
2. Can ECR fund its obligations and payments to Tiger? Answer. Yes, we have a backer in YA which easily covers that.
3. Why did PJ walk? Answer. He`s an accountant, not a geologist, Old Bill is a geologist with masses of experience. Question to you...why did Bill come in?
4. Where's the rush to get an income stream from SLM? Answer. You don`t `rush` in to delicate negotiations (Esperanza) that could end up being a mistake...slowly slowly catch a monkey. Speculate (deramp) all you like but until they announce results and/or agreements neither you or I know. Fact. Blind question.
Your questions are full of holes, and hope, that people lose as much as you did. End of.
One small drilling campaign in the scheme of things. Previous estimates put the resource anywhere between 0.5 - 1.4m ounces! And we only have half the results! Trench results were good. Drill results average but there is possible explanation in the RNS if u bother to read.
