The improvement in production is too low and funds will drain away. QED

Disappointed you have not tried to answer my question last night. This share rose 3.47% yesterday and you seemed to say it would fall yestarday afternoon after looking at all evidence in front of you.

Why do you think it rose? And what do you expect today?

And what did a major Range shareholder thing 10 days ago:

"$30 million funding in place subject to shareholder approval

4 new rigs on order, one en route the other three in TT by September

LO now responsible for drilling through RRDL (200 + staff now NOT on RRL payroll)

Non-core assets being sold to raise $7.7 million

Lind decision being appealed (which I agree is a positive probably)

BOD investing in Range

Canari North exploration well due to spud this week

Waterflood planning in advanced stages

Brand new deep drill will target the Herreras

Ignoring the background noise this is where we are with Range right now:

$30 million funding in place subject to shareholder approval

4 new rigs on order, one on route the other three in TT by September

LO now responsible for drilling through RRDL (200 + staff now not on RRL payroll)

Non-core assets being sold to raise $7.7 million

Lind decision being appealed

BOD investing in Range

Canari North exploration well due to spud this week

Waterflood planning in advanced stages

Brand new deep drill will target the Herreras

Ignore those that tell you this company does not have a great future, it does!Ignoring the background noise this is where we are with Range right now:

$30 million funding in place subject to shareholder approval

4 new rigs on order, one on route the other three in TT by September

LO now responsible for drilling through RRDL (200 + staff now not on RRL payroll)

Canari North exploration well due to spud this week

Waterflood planning in advanced stages

"Brand new deep drill will target the Herreras

We also have a free 10% carry in Colombia "The Company continues to hold fully-carried 10% interest in three exploration blocks, PUT-5, VMM-7, and VSM-1, located in mature basins of the Putumayo and Magdalena Valleys. Range has nil value attributed to these blocks on its balance sheet as at 31 December 2014."

Also, CEO Yan Liu said (standing alongside Walter C and looking v confident:

“The first of the three wells committed for Guayaguayare should be spud anytime now,” Mr Yan told “Energy Insider” in an exclusive interview. “The rig is already on location. We are also awaiting an extension to the exploration phase for the block, since the programme did not commence on time. MEEA says it is happy to give us an extension and happy to hear we are ready to drill.

As for the three original assets – Morne Diablo, South Quarry and Beach Marcelle – development drilling will continue this year, in an effort to replace production from declining wells and, it is to be hoped, even boost production."

Mr Yan said Range should sink about 20 holes all told in 2015, including the three exploration wells required in Guayaguayare.

Lets start the day with a quote a month ago from COO Trinidad (Walter C) about the Deep Horizon programme (below 8000ft):

“We had done a detailed in-house review of our assets and such wells were based on specific leads we had built-up from the data,” he says. “This was the basis of our bid for St Mary’s.”

Deep horizon is officially defined by MEEA for purposes of the incentive as 8,000 feet on land and 12,000 feet offshore, so Range’s 14,000 feet more than qualifies for any fiscal breaks, though the government’s stipulation is that there should be a discovery, because dry holes do not qualify.

But the country manager’s enthusiasm suggests that this will not be the fate of deep horizon holes the company may drill in any part of its acreage.

“If you look at a lot of the old wells on land in the southern basin,” Cukavac points out, “you have production from the Herrera, the Upper Cretaceous, Naparima Hill fractured argillites, Gautier sands and so on but most of these wells are of 1950’s, 1960’s vintage. Nobody followed up on them. It’s ridiculous. So we are following up on them.”

AIM may all be about the hype, but is it now a question of the market maturing and people no longer believing the hype?

Certainly in a hugely better position than just over a year ago when sp zoomed up to 2.7p, kev. This looks nice and solid since suspension and seems good planning to get things in place to multi bag and out of AIM. We would get enthusiastic, I think, if they gave us regular news like they are giving the readers of Port au Spain Chronicle and Bugle and they let the price go up a bit. It is my only red stock and only needs to be .8p for me to see Range in blue too.
