"Why in particular did 4900ft Rig A (on 18 June en route to begin drilling in August) suddenly become "to be shipped from China in July". I suspect the answer is quite simple, LO who are in fact buying these rigs wanted make sure that the Sibo money was confirmed before committing to finalising the order, wouldn't you?
The reality is DC would have told us what LO were telling him and as with all manufacturing, especially something as critical for safety as a drilling rig there will be numerous checks during manufacture and sometimes it takes longer than originally scheduled. All 4 rigs are now built so no more reason for delays IMHO.
"The sale of Range’s drilling business to LandOcean completed. LandOcean will add four new drilling rigs to the fleet this year. Manufacturing of all four rigs has been completed. The largest rig will arrive in Trinidad in mid-August, and the other three rigs will arrive in Trinidad in September; "
I think Yan Liu (who advised us on 18 June about Rigs A, B, C and D needs to explain at Q&A what happened subsequently - and frankly apologise he got it so wrong. Why in particular did 4900ft Rig A (on 18 June en route to begin drilling in August) suddenly become "to be shipped from China in July". Yes, we must be happier now that we are soon to have such good rigs hopefully lining Range and shareholder pockets, but DC and YL have come in on a wave of truthfulness and clear and regular communication (not a PL or RSR strong trait), working alongside RIG and other shareholders (not obvious when GL and RSR were in charge.
And they will retain our support if they tell the truth and apologise if they have got comms wrong.
I think it is about time we knew exactly where the 4 new rigs are.
We had a stat notice on 18th June that 4 rigs were to be added. A (4900ft), B (9800ft), C (3200ft) and D (6500ft). A was "currently en route to Trinidad to commence drilling in August". B was to leave for Trin in June to commence drilling in Oct. C and D would be in Trin in Q4, presumably to start drilling in early 2016.
Then this on 30 June. A, C and D to be shipped in July for drilling in September. No mention at all of B (9800 ft). But now we also have a 13000 ft (Big Bertha) rig which has been shipped in June to arrive in Trin by August.
Then we seem to get another story in the quarterlies. How hard is it to track the manufacture, shipping, 49 day journey to Trin, offloading, permit approval, movement to locations and actual drilling activity? They are 5 massive bits of kit that are quite vital for management and shareholders alike.
No reply, so assume you have no need to write to me, and intend to continue your crusade to attack CH and post nothing whatsoever about Range. Well done again for your forecast yesterday. What do you reckon for this week, Friday 7th cop?
The posters who are precious about their thread headers., Seriously, Lewis, if you think posters are going to waste their time going back and checking the thread to see if it is appropriate to make a comment, then you have too much time on your hands. I'm sure a lot of your content is tongue in cheek, because no one would post such tosh! As for only allowing a poster, to whom the title is referring, to reply - that sort of talk should be left in the playground where it belongs! Try reading a board, of a company, where there is some interest in the stock and follow it with your rules! It just wouldn't work. If you and Celtic didn't post 90%, of the drivel on here, there wouldn't be anything to follow. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing!......lol
Which guys need to get a life? Are you referrring to everybody who contribues to this board, or do you mean myself and Saltdome? If the heading says the name of a poster, it is NOT for you unless your name is in the heading. And I do write to you often headed "YPP" and would not expect Saltdome or anyone else to jump in and answer. And they don't usually. It is a problem of your youth and inexperience, but those can both be seen as advantages and hope you learn.
Assuming you wanted to write to me and not invade my post to Saltdome, can I be first to congratulate you on your .58p forecast today. Very close and very impressive. Well done. Now go out and play with some other boys and girls in this lovely sunshine and try to put Celtic at back of your mind.
