I'm well aware MA is gone, it is interesting that proactiveinvestors had a similar take on MA today as a few of the holders here regarding MA and Cape resources. Dont you find it ironic some of the people that came out of the woodwork to bail MA out including Anita Carr and all the inter webbed company connections?
lol. So I took a deep breath and then just to be honest I took another. So far as I see there is nothing in your post that suggests you were distancing AB from the allegations in the article you posted. IMV You attempted a smear which frankly is just as pointless as your rehash of the old MA and Cape saga. Fyi MA has gone. If I got that wrong then please accept my apologies Let's move on.
In other news from the United States Attorney's Office, Svein Erik Ulsteen, a former executive of Anturion Limited (based in the offshore tax and secrecy haven of the Channel Islands), was sentenced to 46 months in prison for bilking investors of more than $2 million.
Ulsteen sold investors counterfeit and forged Anturion securities and cheated the Internal Revenue Service out of $400,000. He spent investors' money on things such as a yacht and BMW auto. He wanted to get back to his native Norway but U.S. District judge James Lorenz told him, "You're just a con man."
I have looked back at some of my notes from around 2011 & 2012, the company seemed to have done everything correctly & apart from the Sable deal, fairly quickly, the new people appointed plus all the testing & verification companies, looked like no stone was left unturned. Then starting with Sable deal things started changing, DSL used to buy off Sable & sell to BMR, the next two years, I still cannot honestly understand, what was MA trying to do. Continued holding & adding when possible, production soon, sell WPT, no process is better, production soon
What do we see in everyday life, lots of minor crime is not reported & if it is reported then how much capacity have the police to pursue minor items. The rns release is the main route for companies to pass important information to the public, if the system is abused by companies, all trust will be lost. A lot more people are investing in stocks & shares, the regulators need to be more demanding of companies, if we cannot trust the rns data then the risk will be too much for me.
I have voted no in bmr watch to the polls asking whether we should pursue Masoud.
The following reasons were given in comments privately on the board which were subsequently removed. I have republished my reasons but now feel the need to post them here as it is bang out of order that they were removed. This was supposed to be an open and honest debate.
My first posted reason was as follows. This was removed.
All of this is going to A) affect Alex's ability to take us forward whilst he assists those with their enquiries and B) possibly prevent bmr moving into production pending outcome of any enquiry.
I have just posted reason again. Hopefully it will remain but if not here is my post
Think it'd be a bad idea at this point to have Alex embroiled in an investigation that would divert his attention from taking bmr forward.
No good can come off this at the present time. My opinion only.
Only 40 of the 200 or so have voted. If you are part of the group is important you vote otherwise a less than 20% turnout may be the baps for which decisions are made.
I am glad you replied because I am hoping if your views differ, then let each pursue their own path. I have joined the alliance but I can openly say no one is going force me to vote for some thing I disagree with. I have not been asked by Laffer to do anything, I do not know if you have looked at the postings on the watch site. Very much like here, people make suggestions, some are good ideas, others are discarded when thought through & people realise it will not work out. So far all we have done is pooled our shares, I am not doing any work there, I do not know if any have gained membership via false details. That is it, next step is find out if we wish to vote at AGM or at some other time, how can we vote using what method. All we have done is very much like when you move into a new home, go around check what security you have, alarm locks etc which work & where is the weakness.
The only leverage we have when the company is not suspended, is sell if you think the company is run poorly, again each holders right, not for me or any to tell others to buy or sell. The other pressure point is using your voting shares when a opportunity arises or a EGM again if conditions are met.
The question ref, assets is I too believe they are very good, based on the data given to us by BMR, the risk factor, I disagree, not because I know more than you. Very simple view I had was, good data, tailings on the ground, much less risk compared to exploring for years, the license requirements were in place, I thought so ,Kabwe a very much known place logistics local people with skills for processing etc
I still think there must have been a plan, when MA first started acquiring the L&Z assets did they expect to sell or start processing, what changed around 2011,still leaves me puzzled.
3cardbrag nobody is going to force you to join, never mind vote for anything, I accept you may not like seeing the timex being mentioned. Sorry for delay in reply, but I have a very old laptop, it is struggling a bit like owner.
