wasnt expecting that rns this morning. But seems like AB knows what he's doing. I've been in this for nearly 5 years now so I'm sure I can wait another few and hope to get some of my money back. As for MA well I'm too polite to really say what I think about him but casting my mind to a scene from film. Liar Liar. When he tells his boss in the boardroom what he thinks of him . Laffter you seem to be the voice of Bmr and your doing a really good job may I say. I'm relieved that there is a tomorrow for Bmr and we haven't lost all .
Reminds me a little of pfd. Both companies run by an idiot who ran them into the ground before they were replaced by someone of stature and competence. Pfd seems well on the road to recovery. Hope bmr follow the same path to riches. Gla
I hope AB goes for the JUGULAR here. If there is one thing that an investor can rely upon it is the independently audited financial statements. If these are flawed or misrepresent the company's financial position then they have a duty of care and a position to uphold. I don't beleive that the accounts have at any point carried a qualification and therefore are read and digested with trust.
AB has thought objectively and on behalf of shareholders produced a result. There is no doubt that we have been duped over elements in the accounts. How deep the slight of hand has reached we may never know but we now have a much needed injection of capital with no doubt further settlements to be pursued. There is also the question of premeditated statements containing misleading or false information and the unsavory fact that plain incompetence may have also played a leading role. We shall see, you just couldn't script this could you. I await the next NoW revelations with some excitement. Looks like AB has a bucket of pig swill that will just keep revealing the left overs of the MA dynasty. Another red or black moment for the great UK and the elements of corruption that lead to so many being brutally damaged by so few.
You have done a great job thank you. You have a powerful group of shareholders. With respect I would ask that you contact the institute of accountants and raise a formal complaint againt bmr auditors. I would think with evidence they will act swiftly to investigate these matter. The other obvious party are the nomads who sanctioned past RNS's . From experience these are the people bmr should persue
Non-executive directors have responsibilities in the following areas, according to the Higgs Report published by the British government in 2003: Strategy: Non-executive directors should constructively challenge and contribute to the development of strategy. Performance: Non-executive directors should scrutinise the performance of management in meeting-agreed goals and objectives and monitoring and, where necessary, removing senior management, and in succession planning. Risk: Non-executive directors should satisfy themselves that financial information is accurate and that financial controls and systems of risk management are robust and defensible. People: Non-executive directors are responsible for determining appropriate levels of remuneration of executive directors and have a prime role in appointing and where necessary removing senior management, and in succession planning.
