How many hours of keyboard crunching have been undertaken by those with so much faith in Xcite, and those only posting on the Xcite BB?
I'd like to thank YOU for your selfless dedication too!
Was it you that posted in May 2011 that someone would regret their short on Xcite? You'll do a lot better here questioning your own investment rather than insulting those who seem rather more aware of the current situation.
i used to think they were shorters but like you i don't believe that anymore one actually tracked me across a few bb's to have a dig at me..........hahaha now thats dedicating trolling that is...........i filtered a couple of them..........the other guy must be a halfwit all he does is dig out some holders with monotonous 1 liners.........thinks he's smart.........sorry lot they are :-)
I say it because it genuinely baffles me. Half the time it's not one liners, these chaps (I assume they are chaps?) actually put a lot of thought and words into saying absolutely nothing. It's very odd. I don't believe they are shorting either......
How many hours of keyboard crunching undertaken by I) those with so little faith in Xcite and iI) those same people only posting on the Xcite BB. On behalf of all LTH I'd like to thank them for their selfless dedication to whatever bizarre cause they are following but also to encourage them to put their trousers on and get a life. If they were genuine, rather than two bit, traders that wouldn't be wasting time on Xcite and Xcite only. Best of luck to you though, every community needs an idiot or four or five at the last count.
Rowman, I think Xcite have demonstrated that they are able to extract the the oil at the price they say. (allowing for a fudge factor because nothing ever comes in on budget and on time, the latter of which they have admirably demonstrated for us already).
I suspect some of the issues they face are the huge initial up front investment, and general scepticism on the part of sources of funding and other oil companies. Certainly my North Sea contacts were very surprised that Xcite could turn a profit on Xcite even at $60 a barrel.
Additionally, the extra work to prove up the viability of the field has unfortunately coincided with a rather significant drop in PoO, which has perhaps put off people who might have previously been interested.
I hate to put my name against any prediction, but I do feel that there has to come a point at which the share price cannot sink any further given the inherent value in the field and the work that has been done to date. That does go out of the window though if the bonds don't get repaid.
Of course, none of us have any idea what the hell is currently going on.
