Looking at the pictures of the production line I doubt they could build D/D and single deckers in tandem down one line and there looks to be space constraints down a second line, if one exists. I'm guessing that it takes more time to assemble a D/D than a single so does that hold up assembly of singles.
the company building and selling double deckers in former years - and I remember they had a major fundraising which it was said was specifically for the new double decker (which in fact never happened). But to say now that they build and sell double deckers having not done so for years is IMHO really very misleading.
