you are correct.........i haven't seen any rumours posted here over the spring/summer re statoil takeover thats not to say there hasn't been.........i just haven't seen any.......also agree the canadian mkt in XEL is illiquid
There are plenty of reasons to be sceptical about Xcite. Going on and on and on about when the directors sold and posting every so often about a collapse in the Canada bid price (when there isn't actually one) makes you sound like a bitter old troll. Oh wait... ?
I suspect you may be assuming that I meant rumours about Statoil posted here in recent days, otherwise you're being extremely disingenuous.
Putting to one side catboy's wishful thinking in his 06:41 post today, I am referring to past comments that surface now and again, and more importantly the rumours in the press over the years about Statoil taking over. Or them offering a low-ball bid that was rejected, or Xcite being arrogant and Statoil walking off in a huff, or some variation thereof.
I think the most recent obvious attempt was a post from LEGENDS that he reposted from ADVFN about some guy that met some norweigans in a pub who knew something about Statoil taking over. It may have been deleted though, as LSE doesn't like it when people break the rules on the forums.
that the main protagonist of the ramping crew is willfully ignorant, these people are fully aware of facts, resources and sources, but refuse to acknowledge them, claiming to throw in a 50k (30p short) punt here but then claims not to know nothing of the Statoil fiasco , to me is Willful ignorance , or in plain parlance lying !....SIMPLES ...as the ramper itself!
OK if the fairly recent fall of 50% was sector related, what caused the 95% historic fall from the peak, you know when the three bod members became multi millionaires. You would have thought they might have at least caused a guffah from the " waiting ones" by coming out with old adage of " the directors no of no reason for the 95% fall in sp"
