With the impending AGM would it not be a good idea for holders to get in touch with their brokers and ask them give Nevilles proof of their individual holdings as that I believe is the only way in which a crest holder of shares is allowed to vote.
Eric, The RNS says the directors expect to confirm grade and recovery of Zn/Pb after the bulk sample tests. At that point the flowsheet must be finalised. 6 months to buy/ship/install and commission spirals and assecories, IMO is eminently acheivable.
Does anyone ever remember a company called Henderson Morley.
The CEO had sold his shares 6 months without declaring, used the money to make loans to the company making himself the biggest creditor, put the company in to admin and became the new owner as he was the only creditor...selling himself the assets for peanuts....all done on the day of the Admin announcement and before the administrator even got there.....it's on google and what a read.
Anyway, nothing ever happened to him because when it comes to this sort of business, it's up to the shareholders who have been wronged to make a case against the culprit...no bodies are interested except the SFO and there only interested in the really big cases.
The point i'm trying to make is this....AB seems to be talking the talk but I'm not sure and what has happened here is very convenient if you want to take a company down.
If you care about your investment, you should be joining the BMR watch immediately and they need to be sending strong representation to the forth coming meeting......i'm very serious, don't trust anyone here, we might find ourselves on the wrong end of an Admin quicker than we think!
This needs very serious thought from all shareholders, private investors make up over 90% of the current shares in issue, our voice could be very powerful if we vote together and work together.
A reorganisation and consolidation could be detrimental to any of us who have high averages, especially those of us who may not have capital to top up anymore due to buying in on the back RNS after RNS that shone a light on us producing by 2013 then 2014.
Alex Borrelli, Jeremy Hawke, Horacio Furman and Mark Wainwright have very few shares or equity riding on this doing well, this has every chance of being a success, they will certainly want their slice of the pie to be worth it. A £10-£12m write down will hammer the SP, the cash is running low and come the AGM we could be presented with an offer somewhere between a rock and hard place and join the rest of AIMs 90-95% down from highs of the past few years.
Yes I see the potential positives, however, I also ask why Alex Borrelli and then why have Mark Wainwright and Horacio Furman not been suspended or sacked or even left given what they have stood and watched? In fact Wainwright has increased his control.
They're all thick as thieves is this game and won't care in the long term about the 1,000's of investors this reorganisation could effect.
Eric re Shwmae contacting you, you will need to factor in that he lives just on the edge of a blackhole event horizon and thus suffers from time dilation issues. So when he says I'll email you Friday he means a Friday 2 years in the future!! Sorry Shwmae couldn't help having a dig plus you have been voted off as the team mascot so we have employed MA.
KL I know it's very difficult for all of us here. But remember we have no debt, massive potential assets and metals that are in demand. The vast majority of our assets are not on the balance sheet because they are not jorc'd . Any company looking to work with us will know this. Our current mkt value does not reflect this . If this was the end of the story I think the last RNS would have said so. I remain very cautious , worried but have not lost hope. GLA
Yes, we all topped up at times (my last one was in 2011 when I had spare funds) based on the RNS news. I think the trick is to not panic now mate, and although we're fed up, we haven't much meat on the bones yet from AB with regards specifics concerning the potential consolidation. I would suggest we'd have to vote on any changes anyway, so something to bear in mind. It's still our Company, been and going through a rough patch, but still afloat with with no debt.
I rarely use my email address, but it's a gmail account, my username with a middle initial 'b'. If it's about the shareholder group then I'll probably have a seizure. Lol.
To be honest though, I'm not sure what I can add. I have a high average, so am obviously absolutely crap at this investment lark. Been hopeless at it so far. I think we should take a break from this for a while actually, until the next news. Might do us good.
Yes. I think we'll have to keep an open mind though and see what the next news is. There could be another idea behind the mention of consolidation. Maybe to make us more attractive to a larger company, either to do a JV with us or take a stake perhaps. Don't know. A chain of regular news wouldn't go amiss now.
