was for closing extensions.. and still we have no news on the reason for the sp rise. Not complaining though. Long may it continue. Will be nice to have a bit of limelight on this company and a price that reflects it's true value.

Yes, the close will be interesting but without any news from the company or otherwise we are left with speculation. That speculation will of course attract new investors. Will be nice to some new posters on here as I am even starting to bore myself. Gap between PoP and gold is narrowing and futures look pretty good too. This week is going to get very interesting.

A good point you make regarding the experience gained from holding these shares and hopefully when the day comes to sell them we will have made a bob or two as well. I just did a rough calculation and I think my average is now just over 17p with the purchase this morning so a lot better than I thought even though I'm still down of course. The volume so far today isn't anything to write home about but I wonder if there will be any more activity nearer to closing time as happened last week?

Difficult to guess who is accumulating. It would not even surprise me if it was AQP, but of course all speculation. Despite the sp I have enjoyed being invested here, some more experience gained which can only help. In that time I have gained shares in a near bust recycling firm that are now a mining company, while my investment valued has halved and the money in SLP's bank has grown. Not to mention the delisting from the ASX. We will see if it has all been worth it.

My average is 18.3p but like you say we are here to make money so 26p+ minimum. I think your correct also that the tide as changed for the plat producers. Plat at $1650 today and if Amplats cut 250k oz of production a further boost. Think all the majors could do with a part of SLP int he production model to generate cash / profit and brin average production costs down. My money is still on AAC taking it private

I'm at 17/18p to break even which includes my IRON shares that are currently reducing my BE point. That said, I am not invested just to make a few quid. I have passed on a lot of opportunities in order to invest here, which includes IQE and SXX. I think the tide has turned for us here, not because the sp is moving in the right direction but the improving picture for PGM producers. All the bad news last year has taken us down to the 8p range. Imo anything in the teens is a joke. Onwards and upwards :-}

12.50 ont hé ASK now. SLP was in auction earlier and you can't online trade through IG markets. Wonder if the 150,000 are buys as they were from this morning. I think the buyer is still round.
