Sarge, I feel certain Vog will add another gas train should a contract with Dibamba be won, one for next year may be??? It will be interesting to know where Vog plant to drill from, & where to at some point, I hope it is the ''red blob'' !!

Going forward 20mmscf/d is fine given the processing capacity they currently have . They would need some amount of justification to build more processing but that may come along if the Dibamba power station gets the go ahead . Maybe if those other two wells go ahead then the processing would also be done at that location and it can feed in to another part of the network .

t would be comforting to think that the Cameroun gov were that proactive & competent, but I have not see much evidence so far. Dangote will start production much sooner than power plants I feel.

You'd like to think that having imported gensets already, and the Gov being a stakeholder and energy being all important to Cam, that the genset installer would not have the problems GDC did when perhaps setting the earlier precedent. I assume same goes for Dangote and its own power production - believe that they have now started the cement production/raw materials in (courtesy of netuis from iii)

Business in Cameroon) - Built on the banks of the Wouri River by Nigerian billionaire, Aliko Dangote (for a total investment of 50 billion FCFA), the cement factory will enter production in January 2015 and will soon start selling cement on the Cameroonian market, affirms project chief, Baba Abduhallï.
The cement factory has already received its first shipments of raw materials, particularly clinker and gypsum as well as pozzolan from a quarry in the city of Tombel where Dangote Cement Cameroon has approval to use for 5 years.

Miss Maisy, getting the pipe to the power plants is not the problem, getting the generators through the dock yards will be the sticking point. Regarding the processing plant, it is capable of 40mmscf/day!! As is the well 104, but I do not think Vog want to go over 20mmscf/day without more back up from another gas train.

Who's going to be using fas first?
13 Jan '15
Dangote or a power station..MID Jan is not far away or go we need to add the KF Factor (of old?)

The Bassa Power Station is located 0.3km from our operating northern pipeline and the Logbaba Power Station is located 1.3km along the proposed eastern leg off our main line. The pipeline construction to Bassa has been completed to the power station boundaries and GDC has started pipeline construction towards the Logbaba power station, this work is scheduled to be completed by mid-January 2015
