Callincat, If you must know the answer to your negative question it is quite simple; large institutions do not gamble/ speculate. They have their wealth. Their task is to protect that wealth and make it grow. This share is a speculative buy. The returns could be enormous, but what ever the return, they will not speculate with pension funds. It's the same with me and many others on here, in that once this baby takes off, I will be out of aim. Then I too will have considerable wealth and will not want to risk any of it. Then I too will be investing in FTSE stock. And it's not just a question of risk aversion. The rules simply will not allow them to risk it at this stage. They are the people who will be buying in at £5+. Not for a high risk gamble. But for long term investment security. Risk is obviously something that is having a huge negative affect on your nervous state. If you really cannot stand the heat I suggest you invest in the FTSE and save yourself a lot of stress. In the meantime most of us know the risks involved here. That's why it's cheep!

negotiations ongoing! I expect sometime soon to have an update!, given the response at the AGM! I want them to play hardball with whoever it is we are dealing with and expect it to take time! The deal will be worth the wait when it comes! :-)
