and yet you chose to quibble with me on the number of tanks in the FSO rather than disabuse LEGENDS of the notion that the size of the FSO means that Bentley will be a heavy oil hub for nearby fields.
HB - It may have been mentioned in passing before as an option, but it is my understanding that you can't just use lighter crude pumped out of a well for diluent, so it's not as simple as it sounds to mix with lighter oil from any future discoveries in surrounding area. Love to be proven wrong on that though if there is anyone knowledgable on diluent here.
Depending if there is a preferred chosen refinery location they could kit out one tanker for a regular service as they need also to maintain the diluent supply. The Scott Spirit was larger then 500k bbls. Of course if they ever were able to find lighter oil in the area that would help. Apart from Blackbeard for that, reminds me there was talk a long time ago about testing the Jurassic (?) below Bentley for lighter oil source, not seen a report on that possibility since.
Yep, via London, evening flight, Beijing or Singapore intriguing question if so, how much luggage did they have ceilingcat?! But a bit odd if so to do it at the weekend unless working through same, so Stavanger also for an early start the following day!
