Mistake at 79.75
4 May '15
I made the mistake of selling at 79.75, I thought 3% rise would not be sustained. Obviously, I was wrong, it went up a further 4.5%. :-(((((((

I'm with Warren Buffet on this one.

Don't just do something - sit there.

After the 7% rise to 82.87 p how will next week go ?
Election jitters / profit taking / MS drip feed would you think shave a couple of pence off in the next few days . I sold 1/3 of my holding at 82.67 & 82.96 hoping to buy back a couple of pence lower . I normally don't do this as I have been burnt before but decided to gamble . 1 p means £ 500 to me so I will find out soon enough if it comes good or I have boobed again .

I am NOT a typical anything let alone English gentleman. I should have thought you might have got that I have a Scottish ancestry. My father was killed in WWII fighting for a Scottish Regiment - the Scottish Horse and I am a Jacobite.

Scotland still forms part of the British economy what would be gained by trying to destroy it . The SNP "LOST" the referndum , unlikely to be another one anytime soon . Getting the impression that you're a typical English gentleman , no bad thing , but chances are we won't agree on much .
GL to you ATB .
