The only way for this to effect our share value now is progress on the fertiliser plant or gas off take.
If the drilling goes well our 20% will still not be able to be capitalised until progress is made on this
The odds of finding oil without having to deal with the gas is very low
This topic with a decent solution being put forward on the 25th is the only thing now that will really move the stock forward But when it happens-enjoy the ride Kh selling his2m stock at £3 and everyone will be happy!!
Digby - I had a few stabs at Afren recently - did ok in the thirties before Christmas, but then bought back in at 20p in January - and subsequently walked away at 9p, so when the dust settled I ended up down, but it was always just a rash punt with a boom or bust mindset............please don't tell Mrs Pot, though, will you? I wonder how many millions have been spent by us and our operator Adamantine in Kenya, to get nowhere at all in 3 years. Now we are in danger of losing the licence if the extension is not granted. Security concerns have been cited as the reason for the delay. Not really any surprise this area has its dangers. Good potential but we need to get moving on or get out.
