Share Price: 31.75 Bid: 0.00 Ask: 34.25 always seems market maker making money closed at 31.75 would buy at 32.50 but they want 34.25!!! if they stopped playing around with the price and kept a reasonable spread I am sure the stock will move. looks like a way of trying to keep the price down?!
Russian Billion pound Lukoil on board with us at Etinde too. Agree with sentiments of Mayfair and bruce jameson. 3 of management team from Cairn Energy one of most successful oil and gas companies on the market during their tenure am looking for bounce to 40-45 area for a start.
Very I teresti g - thanks. I still do not understand the market in this share. The money is now there well in excess of sp. Something must happen - maybe it will be a takeovers . But something has to give
Bruce - took a gander at AFH Financial as a like for like to BLVN - however whilst they do have FUM of 1 billion their balance sheet tells a different story. As of 31 October 2014 the net assets were £10.5m and cash and cash equivalents of £5.7m (31 October 2013: £4.3m), with deferred earn out liabilities of £4.2m. With a market cap of 30 million this cannot be classed in the same 'share price held back' league as BLVN but do have a normal, healthy 3/4 times share price above market cap.
This loops me back to my primary point that something is adrift with BVLN share price. BLVN is a rare peer group among Aims E&Ps - if not the only one that is now fully funded for value-accretive development with spare capital to continue exploration, so what are the dynamics preventing this share price from moving north. I don't buy in the KH syndrome, love him or hate him, at the end of day timing is everything and BLVN have pulled off a cracking of a deal in the current climate. Something is more afoot that keeps the price at status quo - corporate raid springs to mind - cash rich, debt free - a bid at this price with a 60% premium e.g. 52p a share would purchase a company worth on today;s value at less 74p per share. If this price does not move north after the interims next Wed then a takeover bid cannot be ruled out.
Hi, it's been a while since we were kicking over the coffee cups at the PIs meeting(!), when KH was strutting his stuff. Back then, £1 by Easter seemed at least a possibility. I had not expected this flat-lining after the significant FO cash injection.
Interested to know what you take is on all of this?
It will be still under 35p by time new isa year starts and whether you buy more or sell that's entirely up to you .your decision totally but i would defo say .look around at other companies first THEN decide where you wanna put ya money.
