Shaa..not exactly sure that a CS department being "so busy" is in fact a positive sign...Firstly there have been waves of redundancies so less people doing more work...secondly a busy CS department could be a result of increased complaints.....it would have made much healthier reading had you said you were speaking to a hibu sales person and he/she said that they were so busy, they didn't know which way to turn...

"There has been no material change to the operating performance of the business from the expectations previously communicated." implies revenues have stabilised, and - bearing in mind they've yet to launch any of their digital heavy artillery - I fail to see how this could be interpreted as negative. The delay - as frustrating as it is - implies nothing, as there could be positive or negative reasons for it at this stage. I'd be genuinely surprised if this RNS alone prompts people to sell.

Nothing we didnt already know,share drop will happen tuesday.Always does after RNS Stong balls required now,Only winners are BOD ,shareholders dont exist anymore.No reason to be offered anything.They will have a new company with new bonus perks that will only improve with performance.fok them all.

Butterflypeter I totally agree, we will get something and things are coming to a head very soon. It will be interesting either way with the new company which ever form it takes. Was speaking to a customer services person today about my website, she happened to say that they are so busy, they don't know which way to turn.

the little or no value is in the statement but in the risk part of the statement which is generic to all their statements
the fact that it wasnt mentioned in the main text i find hopeful
i think shareholders would not be interested in their annual financials if we were being told in the next breath that our holdings have no value
tha would just be insulting and offensive to us
so i have to take from it that were going to be offered something
i do think the threat of an agm maybe stirring things up which is good and i do feel we will closure one way other next week
i think if we were gonna be wiped and then their was an action group taking an action against hibu the media would cover it and they definetly dont want that

Though as bfp notes below, there was no mention of little or no value in the last RNS a few hours ago

I am not going to think about it now as it will only spoil me bank holiday weekend. After all, there is nothing I can do about it. I am a 'little positive' as they have said 'little or no value to ordinary share holders' - they could have said 'NO VALUE WHAT SO EVER'

who knows what is going on in their minds!!!

nigel they nearly always have released after the market so i wouldnt look to much into that
if you look at my earlier post i did say they would annoince the results and deal decision at the same time
i actually see that as a positve news release and the reason being that why would shareholders be interested in your financials if you have just told them that their holdings have no value anymore
i woud take from that shareholders will be recieving compensation of some sort
i expect it to be 1-2p
i think the fact that the comment re little or no share value is not mentioned in the main text this time
also when game and hmv were at this stage they were constantly saying no value in their statements
it sounds like the deal has been done and we will hear next week
