Medi: Inresting bit of news: One gets the impression that the BoE and PRA do not quite trust the BOD(&AHO) to make a sound commercial decision. Perhaps the books they have been shown do not give the impression "seeing is believing"
They had all the time in the world to look into the information they need to, yet they want to leave it till the 11th hour. That will only help increase speculation and rumour spreading in the city IMHO.
Best if they come out with the truth sooner than leave it to explode sometime in the future. The Tax payer would be greatful to these people to do exactly what they are paid for and not be obliged to political needs. The public trust in Bankers is at all time low and this piece of news can only reinforce the mistrust.BoE and PRA should not hesitate to say No to AHO if that is what they think is in the public interest. Share holders will learn to live with what they get or don't.This drama beats the Geek vs Europe
