Same here Immy, it'll be tiny increase, heavily sold into then back to 33p cash value, making our assets worth naff all, give me 70p and I'd sell tomorrow, what an absolute mess, we were promised £4 plus back then 4 years ago...10% of that is a big ask now!
Just as a btw, investors should watch out for Bowleven who will be drilling nearby, if successful there’s plenty of room in this market, as the song should have said ‘this town is big enough for the both of us…’
FWIW I still think investors including myself will want to see the cash actually in the bank.
That then removes risk and we can sit back and wait for Bomono results. The most interesting play (again IMO) will be the next Etinde appraisal. If that is as good as we hope my own view is that Lukoil will take the rest and as an already vetted and established company with the Cameroon government it shouldn't take as flippin long.
Should that happen it removes any necessity for the existing cash let alone the payment for the rest of Etinde and I would hope that at that point, BLVN might make a strategic acquisition themselves
Whilst it is what I would like to see happen KH did allude to the possibility himself so hopefully not all wishful thinking.
Clearly there are many that will not gamble with there money and will only pile in here after they here about the gazetting and it’s a sure thing. Monday –Tuesday next week will see big volumes and the price rocket to 45p then 60p-70p after the cash, but there will be many that will miss out still thinking they can by in cheaper and miss the boat.
With the low volume and large positions some insitutions have I don't think they have much difficulty controlling this one. I would expect that they will have taken positions long ago and covered them with various types of derivatives. Its a mugs game buying AIM shares. But fundamentals do sometimes come through eventually - you usually have to wait your turn.
clearly looks like its being supressed until news/cash RNS comes in before they can pile in at such cheap levels or else surely we should be seeing any sort of rise in anticipation....too easy to manipulate the AIM!
Yes and nothing new - just keep watching the direction the A trades take. That are managing the price most days around whatever level they fancy. The last 30mins today will give us a clue if they intend to allow the brakes off and what level they want it to go next.
