But what Stroller didn't say was that he had half a million invested and that 1% was very nice thank you very much :)

LLOY doesn't follow the FTSE?????? Yet another example showing now at your local cinema.
[Of course there is disparity occasionally but on the whole LLOY and the FTSE go elbow in hose pipe together ???

We aren't - actually. LLOY is one of the soundest bets going forward - this country has seen in years.. AHO has purged it to within an inch of its life. If one was an outsider looking in, they would see that LLOY has been a naughty boy (like all other banks) and it has been severely spanked for its actions. Joe public is very happy with the way the government has bashed the banks after all those years of the banks 'rap*ng our economy's wealth.
The problem is....and you, like some of us long timers here - are a victim - in that we joined the purge wagon much much too early. LLOY will bear fruit and BIG time, when the situation is right. That moment cometh very soon (in relative terms) and after that moment - all will reap the fruits of their investments but it's all about where along the purge line did you join up?
Someone buying LLOY stock now will see a 50% improvement in their capital PLUS divi - a year from now....even more perhaps. Now that is very good going at today's rates of return.
IF you are feeling flustered, do what I did 6 months ago - cream "X" % of your stock off and spend it on the saw tooth effect you are seeing between June of 2014 and June of 2015. Sell @ 77 and buy @ 73....repeat and repeat and repeat. Review your options at calendar periods of interest or heightened global activity, assess and decide to invest or not in that moment of 'world uncertainty'. The rate of return is very good, believe me.

Zoros - you reckon 25m per day being sold as long as sp above breakeven . Sounds like we are in the doldrums for quite a while . The game changer is divi news on Feb 27th which all of us hope for . If we get more of the "still in talks blah blah blah " that will really p*ss us off . Coming up for 7 years no divis whilst the board get huge salaries , bonuses etc . We are the mugs unfortunately .

What do you think the selling of 3Bn shares over a 6 month period do to the SP, then?
25,000,000 shares are being sold on a daily basis to meet with Ozzys demands to sell a portion of HMG's stock. You need to decide now whether it's worth hanging around between now and June ish..........'cos nowt will happen to this baby otherwise....................................On the other hand.........................

Yesterday saw nearly a 1% gain on the sp, today were more than 1% down already!
Whats the issue, is it just profit taking or what?

Morning squire. Can't disagree with you there, but we need balance. It looks going forward were heading south as in Southampton. Going to France tomorrow, so if you want some onions give us a shout or Dijon mustard perhaps.
