hello
1 Dec '11
interesting how people are treated on here when they express scepticism, theyre quickly overwhelmed by counteracting posts: djbob is ugly according to homer. i was similarly bullied when i raised basic questions 1.5 yrs ago: http://www.lse.co.uk/ShareChat.asp?page=68&ShareTicker=GWP

one person involved in that discussion has since surreptitiously deleted their posts. you have to wonder how many such people are gwp employees, altho if they are they hide their intellect well: thus we have pop psychology from homer and a new conspiracy theory from standardlamp. note that the share price when i made my last post was 100 and people were saying 'make the most of this price'. should i feel vindicated yet? let me know

maybe sativex will sell (i doubt it, there'd need to be a push from patients) but i dont think any of you have reason to be confident, and certainly not confident enough to bluntly condemn anyone who questions you, especially when, according to my posts 1.5 years ago, not one of you has even a basic understanding of clinical research methodology and thus you have no idea (and dont even seem to care apparently) just how efficacious sativex is.

Reasons

This is petty squabbling, a mjjority of the people believe GWp will be sucessful, me included. DJbob your reasons for slandering this share price is obsscure and un justified. Unless you come up with a legitment reason as to why this is a strong sell, by all means voice them. You playing devil's advocate is uncessary and is petulant. I do not want to log in and see squabbling, but instead constructive conversation about GWP.

confident about GWP

BB/Eish etc - I'm a health professional. I've met many like DJ bob - almost certainly overweight;small cock;certainly unattractive; schoolmates poked fun at him (it's a man, women rarely get pleasure like this!) such that the only pleasure this poor chap gets is from the anger/reaction he gets from other people ANONYMOUSLY ! I feel sorry for him; we must encourage him - it's the only way to prevent him from committing suicide and we wouldn't want that now would we ?
GWP will take a while but I am confident ....

I have loved the petulant squabbling of late! Just some thoughts on a few things picked up at Medical Conferences. One has to ask why man has a range of Cannabinoid receptors, widespread within the human body? This is a fact exploited by GWP to good effect. On their side has been explosive scientific research by the world's scientific community because why does the body have these receptors so wide spread, one has to ask? It means ancient man had many uses for the drug, long long ago! Sadly modern man has unfortunately had an obsession with taking toxic amounts of Cannabis via the easiest route - the lungs! Siesa Wena! Modern drug manufacturing is now more highly geared to "Modulating the Body Control systems" and this is where GWP and its specific Cannabinoids are going to score ALL the way!So don't worry so much about what the share price can do for you but, what GWP will eventually do for the share price! Tula wenas success will come soon! The pipeline for its uses will be manyfold! The longterm sufferers will live long while demanding this drug to feel better! Our ancestors knew this! So we wait patiently for the end of life Cancer Pain results for the big bonanza!

tuppenceworth

I'm not a big poster on these things but I read a lot around my investments, so here's my tuppence worth… For anyone unaware and interested it appears there is a small 'campaign' if you will, aimed towards GW Pharmaceuticals. This I understand is based mainly on the disapproval of it's attempts to make money from Cannabis (ie. develop as a successful business), when in an ideal world this relatively harmless drug (in comparison to some such as alcohol, nicotine, etc) should be readily and legally available in it's raw form (there are other/more specifics so if you're interested…. google is your pal). Apparently one of the preferable sources of action against a company in this situation is to… take the fight to the City.

I would never imply that repetitively similar negative comments on this or other message boards such as interactive investor's, from people who seemingly have no real interest in GW Pharmaceuticals other than to helpfully warn people away from making a bad investment… for their own sake's, would have anything to do with this however.

I will say that I would always encourage everyone to do their own reading, keep up to date and research any company fully before investing. I don't claim to know a wealth when it comes to trading, I am just an average joe who has an interest on the side, but I personally don't believe this 'campaign' has anything to do with the current share price here. When you consider the market performance as a whole over the past few years, and the investment GW is putting back into Cancer pain research/trials, it is understandable not to expect amazing short term gains here, but all thing's considered I feel the global future potential is massive. I suspect one or two other folk agree with me on this one otherwise this company wouldn't have some of the institutional shareholders and organisational support it does.

This is all of course my uneducated opinion and should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Cheers and good luck.
