RE: CHAPPI

NPV10 estimated value CHAPPI was $8 per barrel, derived from estimates from a field which will take 35 years to drain.
Divide the $8 per barrel by 35 years. What do you get lad ?

You want people to believe that Stat would pay $12 per barrel up front, before any development ? As I say, par for the course as you have been 100% wrong since you began promoting this. No question you're down a fortune unless you've sold some while ramping. I would suggest that your $12 per barrel, before development, is out and out ramping. The same as ugiebear's 800,000 barrels every fortnight and the same as Sellhigh's $100 per barrel x 257million barrels. Call it Team Triplets, you're all connected at the hip.

Well if nothing else it's kept us entertained, it would be fun putting the links together

Lead singer of the fall MarkESmith the forum on ADVFN "the fall, heavy drinking Northern England"

But the fun stops when your read what is said on there.

It's a competition to see who can post the most foul aggressive offensive language as many times a day as possible, fuelled by drink it would seem

will be triggered in the event of any low ball offer IMO.

After all, Bentley has two previously producing wells already fitted, at least 203 million barrels of 1P and a route to market clearly identified.

No, they won't get Bentley for $7 pb (or thereabouts)...

What you've done CHAPPI, is add $12 per barrel to the $8 per barrel NPV10, which is the estimated net AFTER 35 years of production. Your $12 per barrel is up front, on top of the 35 year estimate. Unbelievable that you would carry on that charade.

And soon there will probably be two, rather ridiculous quasi national oilcos bidding against themselves, so an overdue consolidation.

Just one of the reasons I feel Statoil will be quietly watching as events unfold. The further along the road, the more expensive Bentley gets.

Also worth remembering Bentley is far more advanced than either Mariner or Bressay.

It shows that the value does indeed rise significantly towards first oil as Statoil only paid $7 per barrel originally I believe? That's a good reason to hope we don't ever get a speculative low-ball offer that's acceptable to the directors and shareholders. Talk of an early takeover will never get us the real value this is surely worth.

Statoil and Shell

with Shell having an 18% stake in Bressay, they could jointly develop Bentley and Bressay, resulting in a combined 500 mb (or thereabouts), and sell off 40% to a Chinese NOC.

Minimum of 203 million barrels of 1P - just waiting for the green light...
