True. That's because majority of drivers think they can pick and chose which laws of the land apply to them but oddly don't feel confident enough that they are in the right to want to be tracked breaking them. Same as complaining about being caught on speed cameras, the solution is obvious but the drivers don't think it's fair they've been *caught*. However, the market for in-car monitoring will come from the "supply-side" and governments responding to the majority complaining about everyone's driving, except their own, leading to higher premiums.
Quindell will remain an Aim-listed company and will focus on car insurance. Its Himex and Iter8 brands have telematics software that is used in black boxes to monitor driver behaviour. Its subsidiary Ingenie uses that telematics data to broker car insurance policies, particularly for young drivers. Quindell will also sell back-office software for insurers to manage claims. The remaining businesses are “about break-even”, Mr Currie said.
Telematics It's a product with a small customer demand with increasing supply ,guess what that means for profit ..... After sale of legal services The remaining businesses are “about break-even”, Mr Currie said...quote ....
Apologies. You type a lot better on a mobile than I am ever able to do!
Anyway it strikes me that we have been in the fifth circle of hell (wrath and sullenness for those that don't know the Divine Comedy) , having been in the eighth (Fraud) , but will soon be back in the fourth (Avarice). Sometimes you need to take the pain to then prosper. Be glad to see the daylight though!
You can use the reply button rather than starting a new thread every time. What you say is true: but I don't expect "great figures". Perversely the worse the numbers means the greater the clean-up, and the better for the future. Anyway should only be a few days until we finally hear.
