No disrespect and well done

BUT everyone’s makes money on a Bull Run as you cannot really lose as all stocks rise

I respect the traders who still make the money on a bear run that’s when you earn your crust

You must remember that when I sold at 55p and 54p after buying at 51p it was to release cash.

I made my profit by using money from my Lloyds shares, and reinvesting which to date has been far more profitable than leaving the bulk in Lloyds.

I sold at a profit a major portion of Lloyds shares at 55p and invested that money. In BT at 275 Bt rose soon after to 305p so I made 30p per share, DLG was a new share to me and I bought at 199 and it rose to 215, 15p per share profit, AV 310, now 340, 30p per share profit. I was also able to buy a lessor amount of lloyds at 54p. I think you would agree this was quite a good move.

I was also able to profit from GNC and AFC both quick and good profits and all within a few weeks,

When RBS shares dropped to less than 300p, I sold 1/3 of my AV stock at a good profit along with the funds from GNC and AV, I ploughed most into RBS at 307, 15p profit per share, and bought more Lloyds at 60p last week.

So although I paid more for Lloyd’s than I sold for, I had put the money from the sale of my Lloyd’s shares to good use, due to the profit made from my recent buys, and I still hold 40k shares in Lloyd’s with a chance of these also making a profit.

I won’t day trade Lloyds because they appear to be stuck in the 60-63p range and by the time you pay tax and charges I think the risk at the moment is not worth the gamble on small amounts.

Whereas Trader 33, meerkat, and others are playing with big stakes £100k plus were fractions come to money, it could be a worthwhile risk at this range.

Therefore, for now, with Lloyds I just add more when the price drops low enough, and will probably sell RBS a little later as I am hoping for around 325-330, but will hang onto my other dividend paying stocks.

I hope everyone dose well with there trades today.

Berenburg and Esperito Sancto are the only relatively recent bearish comments.....I certainly do not think Berenburgs statement is going to come to fruition and likewise Esperito "s but we shall see .
The only main imponderable is the goverments action with their shares because allowing for what progress is made with our economic situation I can only think their is satisfactory upside for these shares I am a holder and a possible buyer on dips

She and I are just putting the finishing touches to George's speech for tonight and advising him how to control the adoring crowd when they try to mob him. Mansion House speeches are pretty dangerous things these days!

Click on the broker ratings at the top of this page. 24 - 72p, take your choice, ignoring the 24p one the average Broker target is 59p. There are 4 brokers calling for 45 - 50p.
