Developments

Good week for news and developments all moving in the right direction

Black Hills RNS - 3DIP survey approved and starts next week - is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete and survey data will be processed with modern inversion techniques to provide detailed 3D chargeability and resistivity models which will assist with drill programme planning.

Ernest Giles - A major drilling programme commenced in June at Ernest Giles and is currently ahead of schedule with completion expected in the next two weeks. The programme was designed to test three high priority gold targets at the Meadows, Wishbone and Empress areas, and a nickel sulphide target at the Carnegie licence.

Firetower - IP programme successfully completed and subsurface 3D chargeability and resistivity models awaited.

HAV - 10 drill campaign starts Sept

Financial Position - The Company ended the period in a strong financial position with an unaudited cash balance at 30 June 2018 in excess of £3,500,000 and no debt.

Corporate Strategy - Greatland will continue to assess a range of new opportunities as it seeks to acquire undervalued projects in underexplored areas. The Company will continue to execute towards its strategy of maximising risk-adjusted return on shareholders' capital and, in this regard, will constantly seek opportunities to monetise its projects, whether through outright sale, joint venture or spin-out via an initial public offering.

As GH says:

"Greatland is in the strongest position it has ever been ....we believe that Black Hills, Havieron and Ernest Giles have the potential to host multi-million ounce deposits "

From Proactive Interview key points:

" last 6 months taken the company to a whole new level"

" Black hills on surface reminiscent of what they were seeing early days at Telfer"

" we want to take these 2 assets (BH, Hav) up to the entirely next level in the next 12 months"

"....Assessing a range of opportunities, what more can you tell me? - GH - "not much Andrew...cant bring you inside"

and then GH laughter, sounds good to me.

Im shocked that someone on this BB thinks he's invented the concept of selling smaller assets to fund the future growth of the company, and develop major assets. He probably discovered the earth wasn't flat also...

Without doubt Itsaduster gets the funniest post of the week, from Thursday 18:04:

"Great to hear Gervaise putting Haveiron and Black hills as top top priority. He obviously reads my posts here. He has also caught on to the fact that Black Hills is also a very very cheap expo proposition with oriferous ore body breaking surface as it does.

Only mentioned EG when asked specifically about it yeah !!

Keep logging in here Gervaise I will see you right M8 and keep U on the right track"

Another poster then said that GH definitely reads this board and understand PI sentiment, I bet GH cracked up at that post, but he may have also taken this on board, as the proactive interview on Friday was very much EG focused, very different to the Sharetalk and BRR interviews earlier in the week which were all BH and HAV.
If you do read this Gervaise, you have our support and confidence, good on ya.

Thom ….Money has been spent and still being spent on the projects. This is not the first exploration campaign in EG or Havieron by GGP. Newmont has already spent a lot of money and time on Meadows. They know what is there based on their DSG and NEWDAS equipment. We are proving it up with the drill campaign and if it as good as we hope.... we should be laughing. Life is a gamble and we take our chances

Investor111........EG no infrastructure, they will need plans for transportation etc which can take years to build costing a lot of money
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Infrastructure is being improved all the time. However, that is why, i believe EG will go to a BIG MAJOR who would be thinking 20 - 40 yrs ahead, like Newmont. They have said in one article that i read, they are looking for acquisitions that could be moth balled for future growth of the company. IT is unlikely that GGP will go mit alone with EG.....just sell it as quick as it can be reasonably priced and then concentrate on the rest?

Wouldn’t want be out of this over the wee.... oh, I’m not!

Probable news flow
Firtower 3DIP results and drill campaign - targeting 1m oz deposits potential value if proven £40m+
Heavieron and Blackhills - drill campaign in 3rd quarter, 3DIP next week results poss Nov/Dec. Value if proven £?????
EG Meadows, Carnegie, Empress - drill campaign finished in a couple of weeks, results September? Value if Proven £????
Bromus, Panorama work not even started in earnest.

Majors don’t need a JORC to do a deal but they do need to be satisfied that a commercial deposit is present.

Greatland doing a great job pushing projects along the value curve. No wonder GH and team are excited.

I’m long GLA.

GGP, didn't mess up...it was most likely part of a broader strategy......Let Artemis acquire Armada thenn do a deal or bid for Havieron and or BH....All imo.
It also sits well that over the last month GH has appeared to be desperate to get the sp higher. Why would he be so frantic to do that. unless it is for a better sale price of whatever is being considered? Reading between the lines is making me reconsider buying many MANY more shares than i have ever held. I'm THAT CONVINCED, gla

Yes, i think GH knew about Artemis getting in under the nose of Rio. The location of the Armada licence is another pawn in this game of land grabs. IT sits nicely poised for Artemis or Rio to make a play for BH and Havieron. Peeps were full of consternation that GGP didn't get 'in' before Artemis, GGP probably have had pre-talks and whoever with had decided to let Artemis gain a foothold, as imo, it's going to be either or both that will be making an offer to us. My choice is Artemis for a JV with a view to buy.

My only concern for EG is that it is in the middle of nowhere. There are no transport links etc at all and to monitise EG they will need plans for transportation etc which can take years to build costing a lot of money

Tiburn - Couldn't agree more. It is monetisation in the 1st half of Financial year 2019 and possibly early 2019 Calendar year. Then next stage of company development because EG is 1,800 sq km (huge) and Greenstone. Then there is Panorama, Paterson East and Warrantina. If we have £20m - £50m cash we can do justice to EG and Panorama's Gold and Cobalt potential. Without the initial monetisation (cash in) the Majors will simply push us around. I reckon we will get in excess of £500m for Black Hills, Havieron and Meadows. £45m mcap to £500m mcap by Christmas / Easter 2019? Exciting times ahead. Sit tight!

Professor

I think your right that potentially GH has some early EG drill results indications - a lot more emphasis on EG in the last Proactive interview, he was much more focused on HAV and BH in other interviews and comms this week.

What a portfolio GH has, he could split our seven projects into 15 or so and sell off as separate entities or JV as he likes, his head must be spinning on the potential deals to be done here - but its all been planned - its through hard, great team work and a successful and comprehensive business model - he told us all along the road what Greatland have, its just taken a while for the market to start to believe.
Eventually....... the belief will translate to share price increase.

I also think this is all to be done in the next 12 months as he said in the proactive interview - I think that's his end target to have achieved some monetisation of one or more of the assets - we are fully funded until summer 2019, but the money doesn't run out then based on cash burn to date, I believe its just his line in the sand he has set himself to secure Greatlands next phase of company development.

The disclosure agreement only applies to work carried out by Newmont. Why keep going over the same things over and over?

I hope we don't have to suffer more of this nonsense all weekend again.

RE: EG Drill Results
Fri 17:08
We had been drilling the "wrong" area in Meadows? Now we know where to drill the 24 holes :

https://markets.ft.com/data/announce/detail?dockey=1323-13226704-0T66JCFMNPA9I0JSJ1AHC17O3H

In late 2016, the Company completed a comprehensive broad spaced RC drilling programme at Meadows in the south-east of the project area which tested several large areas based on work completed by the Company and earlier work by Western Mining Corporation. This RC drill programme comprised 23 holes for 5,581m. Hole locations were based on a broad spaced grid pattern of 1,600m x 800m.

Mineralisation was observed in 13 of the 23 holes and several holes exhibited gold anomalous zones over tens of metres, peaking at 0.78g/t gold with mineralisation at end of hole. Two large zones of mineralisation were identified; Western 6km x 1.5km and Eastern 2km x 1.5km. Additional 1m sampling of several intercepts was undertaken to confirm preliminary results and better define mineralisation with many significant gold results returned up to 2g/t. Results confirmed mineralisation is present over a large area at Meadows and suggest that Greatland has discovered a new gold province in this largely unexplored region.

I am inclined to agree with your analysis, Goat.
Report to the market first.

And as I recall the NDA applied to Newmont’s own operational findings.
The argument that GGP is stronger now than in pre-Newmont day’s has some strength, in my opinion.
