Had a few trades previously around 240 but wasn't up much overall on those! Happy to be buying this close to cash level and even more so if it goes lower!

Be a super average if you get it mate, I'm looking at 180 now for another tranche. Gabon really hurt us this year I'm afraid, all in all I still think it's good acreage and ophir will be back next year hopefully knowing a lot more about how the systems work. Pre salt in Brazil has been huge but it's still fairly new

Not quite yet, drill ship on site though. At least a further 5 well results are expected from drilling in Equatorial Guinea and Tanzania by October the Tanzania drills have pretty high cos too.

This is the problem when one tries to find the bottom and the bottom is the bottomless pit :)

Have they spudded EG explo well yet???

Just be careful here, another duster will take it to cash levels at around 150p

I'm just gradually building a position, still got one or two blocks i want to take but going to wait now and see if 180ish gets seen. Currently averaging around 206/207 and would be very happy if i get a chance to double up sub-180 and end up with an average in the low 190s (taking a longer term view)!

Before then, they are drilling a couple of wells now I'll post something later on it if I get a chance. How's knows where the bottom is. I've tried to find it a couple of times now lol. Thing is I believe in ophir long term and think its a good bet, but that's just me

SP and drilling updates
18 Jul '14
Thinking about getting in here as have been monitoring OPHR for a good few months. Almost bought in at 205 but suspected further drops were still in store. Not trying to sound like I have a crystal ball but surely this can't drop much more and is ready to bounce? Am I right in saying next well/drilling updates due by October or should one expect a RNS before then?
