they have 10 weeks to come up with something, or God knows what price the next placing will be at. That means I have 9 weeks left to hold.

Exactly, they would not accept shares for payment in lieu of cash if things were going to be bits up!
Let the market absorb the new shares, there are plenty on takers, and then see where we go next.
In the short term this is not boom or bust, but probably a happy medium.
I would rather that this funding monkey is off our backs and now we can now look forward, ok so we didn't use our Tax loss, Argy or have an institutional investor for this, however these plays still loom for the near future, and will still have the desired positive effect on the company going forward.

they could offset capital losses against future capital gains... although know nothing about taking shares as salary in terms of employee and employeer ni and income tax....
i think the key risk now even if the project turns out to be very lucrative is finding that "reputational investor" - from what was posted here i thought they were in the bag and the bod were smart enough not to agree to even the 100k without knowing where;d they'd get it.....

By the way re the salary in shares, not too knowledgable on this, but if ECR were to fold, I suppose the loss could be offset against tax in the future??

'Look guys, I've had this brilliant idea for reducing the Company's salary costs. We all know that this is all going down the pan and we don't stand a chance of making a success of ECR, but I'd like to suggest that we swap our salaries for shares in this ill fated company of ours. Re bod talking to pis Paul can talk the legs off anything and I've had a 45 min chat with him this morning and good it was too happy for anybody to email him as per the ecr tweet and confirm this happened he knows Iam theiceberg on here
