I believe Tiger Global caused us the most damage, and as long as they are not increasing their shorts I have little to fear. The small Irish fund seem clueless. Look at the companies they are shorting, they seem to be losing money on most at the moment. They have taken a massive punt IMO.
For engaging with trolls, I think they were complaining about my pointing out their trolling, I thought I'd report back what I saw...
I presume some of the trolls were on a ban too because we didn't see the usual suspects on here. However, we did see a couple of new users register accounts and then appear yesterday. Now I'm sure it's just coincidence that on the day we don't see the terrible trolls new users register accounts and then swear blind they're not the reincarnations of the missing trolls.
And it's not like I predicted this type of activity would happen, before my posts got deleted.
Anyway, I hear from my sources at QPP that we should be hearing good news this week so not a good time to be shorting QPP.
k3,aussiegold - my thinking is the same as yours. I guess that during mon-fri it is unlikely that both markets remain closed at same time. Weekend only possibility I guess. So any deal may be reported on Monday 7am.
The deal structures will be put to the shareholders to vote for with the board recommending their preferred option, so I'm not expecting any suspension of any shares. I think this way would be the most beneficial to the sp too GLA
Quickpro, aussiegold reckoned the ASX would require SGH to suspend., but I think that is the only input we have had on that topic. Probably we will have to have any deal announced when both markets are closed, but that's just my opinion.
