Resistance
10 Apr '13
Hi,
Well lets hope so....it looks like after the initial drop looking for a some resistance this morning it reversed with some reasonable buys.....which suggests some more serious investors...
These new buyers will offer some resistance hopefully for a consolidation tomorrow, it was good to see increase in volume which is also a good indicator that some of the news and value in the business is starting to be digested by the market...
GG nice post and link, sums up the sentiment yesterday...

Holding in there
9 Apr '13
Hello globo gang. Go Go GBO..? Well not the best of days eh? Well it is times like these that I think GG you wally why did you purchase a few more in the 40's your timing sucks!!! Sometimes you do not know which way the market will take a RNS but like you guys from what I can see there is nothing bad there. (although I am definitely no expert and still on that learning curve)
I guess like most of the posters here although it hurts( just a little) watching this move downwards, we have seen such a strong rise the last 3 months there is a buffer to ease the pain.. I was hoping GBO's days of volatile swings were over but maybe that was naive. Personally I still want to be invested the growth, is still there and with regards to p/e etc gbo is v well priced esp for a techie. Companies are slowly realising BYOD is something they should have a policy on and acknowledge - its happening anyway. The fact it could also save them money in purchasing and management of the contracts can only help speed this process up (re mnobbies point). I guess one of the key factors at the moment is they are not being forced into sorting something out unlike PCI compliance which was. IT Depts/CIO's/CTO's may take more notice when they realise how many of their staff could be using personal devices and if they have a security breach.
I came across this article tonight so thought I would share
http://www.theglobeandmail.com/report-on-business/careers/the-future-of-work/work-has-become-one-big-byod-party/article10497706/ (apologies if this has already been posted)
Anyway hope you are all well and had a good Easter. After surviving a mountain of childrens easter eggs and my son's birthday party feeling v lardy and zzz.
CM - sorry for lack of contact all over the show at the moment catch up soon..

RE: forcasts?

RW,
Yes my views are slanted by US from an investment perspective but I am currently hanging out on the Portsmouth sea front.....unfortunately I see the sky is grey, wind cold and raining....still am trying to instill some UK history in my son.
With regard to US I recently worked at a company who had approx 3000 NY based employees. Estimated that 80% of staff had company issued Blackberry. The cost to the company of purchasing the hardware was huge especially when factoring in the constant upgrades by smartphone manufacturers and new models that had to be purchased. Managing the inventory was a job in itself and I heard many stories from staff I knew in IT of smartphones purchased only for the manufacturer to bring out a new model a couple of months later, leaving the company with an inventory of smartphones.
Let's hope for some black tomorrow....I will be checking from Nelson's flagship.

Hi, i agree nothing has changed and the prospects are just as bright.
You are right investment decisions are always a personal one, as it should always be.
Always difficult to forecast, it is always at a tipping point when news is released that has already been available.
This particular RNS had to cover a lot of information and that always risks diluting the underling truth.
Still as you say, there's still plenty more to come and the share price should continue over time to re-rate to match
the inherent strengths of the business.
Always good to hear your perspectives from the states.

Hi, i am still here as nothing has changed.
The market for BYOD is very much in demand and in fact i use a simplified version on my ipad.
But as soon as the company i am working for authorises the GBo product i will have to use this simplified version.
It is great as i can connect straight to any back-room system and it logs on very fast and convenient.
If people try it they will want to use it.
Agreed the CEO and Chairmans statement are good and confirm that sales are continuing there strong performance into 2013.

Well ladies and gentlemen shows what I know about market...posted just before results announced I thought share price would move to 60p over next 6-9 months....we are now down over 12% from my post. Oh well still have 6 months to meet target.
That said agree with all said before.
Personally not too concerned at the moment if BYOD is not understood by market...if everybody understood everything perfectly then we would have little opportunity to make a profit.
Obviously 12% loss in two days can be unsettling but fundamentally what has changed? Remember the share price has run from 20p to where we are now in a quick time. As a result profit taking can be understood.
Of some further comfort is US market performance today and in particular risk assets. Positive market will provide feel good factor. Also, technology as a sector hasn't really performed this year but various market sages, of which I am not one, are predicting an increase in tech spending during second half of the year.
After all of the above as every investing is a personal decision.

Hi RW, good to hear from you. Guess you are still in here, hope others are too. I don't have much understanding of the BYOD market and was wondering today whilst cycling back to the car after work (a time when I do much of my thinking) is there REALLY much demand for it or is it a market that is being created and which in time we will wonder how on Earth we managed to do without it?.
Interesting thought of yours about potential take over.
I have just read in detail the Chairman's and CEO's report from yesterdays results. They are both extremely good and confident; in fact, I can not remember reading any report from any company which was as good, and I make a point of reading them for all my holdings. I can not see anything in their reports which is negative. The reports are too long and detailed to post here, but I would recommend to all to read them, if for no other reason than to try and steady nerves.
Good luck all

The RBC forecast for revenues from this tie up to be at least 7m.
That on its own would represent a 55% approx yearly increase without factoring in all the other markets.
Factor in my previous post and you see that this high margin package offers a considerable increase in profits and EPS IMO...
Only time will tell, but there is plenty to keep any investor interested.

GoEnterprise growth rate
9 Apr '13
GoEnterprise has grown revenues in its first full year as follows.
First six months 4.4m
Second six months 7.5m
A grow rate in six months of 70%
This does not factor in that many of the main distribution agreements were signed in the last few months of the year
therefore would not become commercialised until this year.
