will Mr Money have one last try to knock out a few tight stops before results are posted ... I hope so as i want some more at sub 19p ... before its too late !!

Should hopefully see full impact of the acquisition in this set of numbers and then maybe we can say goodbye to the 'Teens' forever ?!

BW & GL as always from one ALK-y to all others (...Hic !!!!)

results due soon

Chart is looking encouraging before the results (last year 7th September).(I am not a chartist - just mean it is going up!) Should show massive "profit" as Greenpark taken on to books at fair value. Alkane bought £9m of generating kit for £5.75m and company must have had a few other assets.

Lets hope a stronger balance sheet will encourage the board to think about a dividend!

Buying into RESULTS ...
16 Aug '12
Hope to see buying continue upto and upon release of results at begining of September !!!

Looks like Mr Money has still got a few orders to try and satisfy prior to the RNS... I am happy with that, however it is fair to say that happy hour has finished for now in Bar ALK-y !!

Average PE ratio has been over x10 in recent years, so I am hoping that see that again once the stats are in the public domain ???

Hold Tight and GLA ... Nearly there now, I wonder how our CBM partner is getting on and what news of our Shale intererst in Cheshire, not to mention Biogas & AD ops ... so many questions !!??

Has held up well, and even though I'm slightly under at 22.50, am not worried. This has so much potential, and being in my sipp, I can wait patiently. GLA.

150,000 share transaction was a BUY ... someone really knows their onions here !!

Still not sure we have seen the last of the squeeze, everytime they manage to shake a few apples from the tree 'Mr Money' is ready to mop them all up and he will be making cider in the autumn IMHO !!

Hold tight guys and gals, we need to show Mr Money that we don't want his cider and that if he wants to drink he must order at our bar ... where the drinks are darned EXPENSIVE !!!!!!

Next official report due in early September (I think), we might see this red tide turn a few weeks prior as our bar becomes more popular and the pinstripes pop in for a cheeky one before hometime.

I have kept just enough funds back for one last and very small top-up here... will be all spent up by mid August I guess !!

I'll try to leave some shares for you, by not going mad just yet to grab it all! lol. I'm not always convinced that charts work in aim, but am not a seasoned investor yet, so who am I to argue. I look at the track record, balance sheets for last 2 yrs, share graphs, and research potential with regard to usp's, patents etc, and mix it up to form my own opinion, and after squeeky bum time make my decision! Maybe others would call that boll-cks, but hey, it's working with val and sclp in my sipp. So Wooly, leave your coat where it is, you're fine! ATB.

As I thought ...

BID taken sub 18p but ASK stayed above that number al day ...although can't believe they dropped it quite so blatently just to pick up a measly 10k shares ??

I still maintain that we could see ASK eased sub 18p between now and next statutary update ..... A-17.00 B-17.75 not impossible, although Tech Analysis had sugested that 18.4p was the 'Fib Retrace' support level ... note to self : Never trust charts !!

Enough rambling ... we are now firmly in 'Top-up' zone ... STRONG BUY (Upto 19.5p - Next phase support)

OK I am boring myself now ... I will fetch my coat !!!!!!

Going to plan but ...

Looks like the walk toward 18p is proving a little more difficult than I had aticipated ... there are folks out there that also have an eye for a bargain ad realise what ALK has to offer the patient investor. Someone appears to be picking up small chunks of these along the way (18.35p is a great buy for someone today based on T/A).

Interested to hear where people think the next interim 'Peak' maybe sits (24-25p being my bet estimate at this moment) ... My longer term target remains at between 40-42p (Maybe slightly higher if someone wants to take us out).

I am getting that nervous feeling in the pit of my stomach (I have a tendancy to try to be a bit too cute with my buys & sells), that feeling tells me that we are getting close to the next move but what do I know ... really ??!!

Hope everyone is OK and not seeing too much red in these tough markets ?
