I'm confused are you Italian or Scottish ?

Also the Jamiesons hail from Termonfeckin in Co. Louth are known to have travelled to Fife in search of food in olden times.

In my opinion there is nothing wrong with cherry picking once you pick the right cherries, as a matter of fact its a noble occupation, and is in a different league to hanbagging.

Cherry picking ? It was you who brought up gambling. As for a common market, I agree it is essential, as is a common currency to make it work. You want a level playing field and yet you sit on the bench complaining.

You cannot cherry pick. If legal the oppengruppenfuehrer should allow others on. No good disapproving of gambling companies. If against them why does she allow german ones and state owned at that. Do not tR all Brits with the same brush. A genuine common market is essential., also you may not like ukip but there are anti eu parties of right and left springing up everywhere. How about the dreaded le pen. You do not touch on units! And purl ease my views are no where near the left wing clap trap of the bbw. And sky is unbiased and proper long reports also encouraging the young to vote. What is wrong with that.

BBC & Sky news talk Bruce. The British want the benefits of a united Europe yet are afraid to commit to it. The Germans are right not to allow British or any other Gambling companies in. There would be a betting shop on every corner just like the UK where gambling has become a major problem. The sooner the British have a referendum and leave the eu the better. We don't need there ukip MEPs disruptive attitude holding us back.

Well I am british as my name as ancestry is as you can see Scottish. My father was killed in a Scottish regiment the Scottish Horse. as a result I am intensely PRO European, living in Umbria could not be anything else. Am, like most Italians, anti euro currency which has done nothing but damage. The eu should be, but is not, a free trade area. For instance the French should sell british mutual funds under UCITSIII but refuse. Merckel refuses to allow british gambling companies into Germany as she has her own state owned ones. The accounts MUST be signed off now not happened for 20 years. Politically I am conservative minded in UK (but anti Cameron who is patronising) but in Italy support Renzi's Partito Democratico. The eu has not even prepared a trade deal with China so Britain has had to do its own. The sanctions against Russia have backfired as Putin has retaliated bankrupting peach farmers in Greece having taken away their market spoiling holiday destinations where rich Russians are not now going. And yet the UN is doing little to help Ukraine on its doorstep.

Hey 2cv, all is well? So you made it back home in good order.

No lire here since 1999. The only lira is the "l'ira di Dio" or "rage of God" with all the poxbottles who harken for the lira and forget interest rates were 16% before the euro.

Maybe Bruce's kangaroos have Agro' missing undies...

Yes I live less than 10 minutes from where that protect happened at the weekend in Madrid.

Catalonia has not had a referendum yet!

If Germany didn't want the euro they would be out in the morning! They have a vision and the euro is part of the package.

I was in Rome at xmas. Met Doughnuts there. I can't recall too many shops with the lire price.

Brucie you're bouncing around from topic to topic like a kangaroo.
