RE: Traders programme BBC 2

Cheers Boak, interesting watch. I like the bit where the Chicago Cattle MM said he rewarded himself by buying something for himselfvif he had a bad day so he didn't feel so bad!

If I worked on that basis, I'd 1. Be bankrupt and 2. I'd need a bigger house for all the stuff lol

Traders programme BBC 2

For anyone who might be a bit bored at the week-end, this programme might interest. It was first broadcast 15 September, and thanks to Baron for putting up the link on his Twitter page. There will be another episode this week "Trading from Home". Only just watched it on iplayer on my PC. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b04j525k/traders-millions-by-the-minute-episode-1

A very comprehensive presentation.
Without getting technical, the Springer fairway is where we need to be.
Cross-section on the Woodford outlines band width of hydrocarbon-bearing strata.

Have been focusing on Springer bench for some time. Anxious to see if SOS picks up a few prime targets, but nothing added to MAGP's assets this week.

Nothing alarming i.r.o. Great White. The resulting action of a mechanics' lien was taken by Klaus Inc., a small firm in the electrical contractors' business. They have made a habit of taking up cudgels in recent years, presumably because of tardy payment settlements. They work out of -

Agree with that one Robsky. In the highlands for the weekend and listening to some bitter comments on the radio on the way up. Just hoping we can all pull together now for the good of all.

Interims Monday maybe.

G'day to you. Relieved to see outcome north of the border, although I wouldn't describe 55 : 45 as "overwhelming". Scots folk I know were horrified at the prospect of break up. On the other hand, if I was in the Gorbals, my view would be altogether different.

Yes, I finally tracked down Great White, but never as sharp as you on individual wells. Am OK on townships/ranges, which takes seconds, yet OCC remains a hidden minefield. Anyway, it looks as though the mineral owner has put a mechanics' lien on the site; the suspicion is Redfork is not coughing up the wonga on royalties in good time. Hope they are not finding themselves cash-strapped.

Incidentally, I like the scene at S16 2N 4W - and surrounding it - not far from MAGP's

- good example of what appears to be a lined disposal dam on S16 in the south.

Yep, happy with the result, though it was close...Majority YES in Glasgow!, the difference in numbers strangely coincides with the rough English population in Scotland who im sure the overwhelming majority would have voted NO..if you took them out who knows it might have been a YES vote!!.

Still, it looks to have whipped up a fervour of change, we can only see what that might entail. Perhaps the Interims next week will create a fervour of change here too....hoping to fund some additions myself at this price.

Morning all
Good to see confidence returning and very glad to see we are still a United Kingdom, perhaps the united front from the main parties shown against the independence campaign can now be combined and get the best of the best for all areas of the UK.
(nice one Poacher)

US Shale Gas prospects
19 Sep '14
Continental Resources, one of the leaders of the US shale revolution, on Thursday announced what it expects to be a large new oil-producing area in Oklahoma, but worried investors with projections of rising well costs. The company also raised its estimate of the total volume of oil that can be recovered from the Bakken formation in North Dakota, but not by as much as some other companies have increased their projections of shale oil’s potential in recent years.
