I think it is...... Dividend yield is no good if share price drops by the same amount or even more and I think this is possible. I've sold today at a loss of 10p per share. Good luck to everyone holding but I think the announcement could be quite damaging and is awful timing just after the launch..
Yes just read that since my last post, given Infinis is onshore wind it's a big blow in my opinion... the gov giving more to off shore wind. Think that Infinis should still be ok in their current contracts but does not bode well for future... yield still attractive but can they maintain that in the future with the Gov rethinking on renewables? the share price likely to take a significant hit... im out. Infinis is apparently one of the top three generators of renewable energy in the UK. but does that justify the salaries that they're paying to their top executives? According to the FT data, the CEO and CFO are both on over half a million a year and the chairman is on a quarter million, yet net profits have declined for each of the three years reported and last year the company was unable to extract any profit from 232 million revenue. At the same time, debt to capital ratio is 64%.
