Just look through some posts. It's seems that the lack of excitement in the share price and no doubt the continued acceleration in the share price on DAN has pleased some and clearly ****ed off others problably frustrated at either not buying in when the shares were foundering at 1.50 or unhappy at posters keenest to share their excitement at seeing a rising stock. Was waiting for a Victor Meldew to say ' this is a Quindell board not DAN'. As I've said before, I listen to ideas but if the argument is weak, as in the ' RT is Freddie Kruger or something' I dismiss and make investment decisions likely to !! Grow my investments!! .
Having invested approx 170k with Quindell after chasing the average down from £6+ high, a 50k+ deficits was ugly and a situation I had never found myself in before, not even during the dot. com days where it was possible to see shares worth more than ICI just on share speculation alone and hundred of percent rises in days were not uncommon. I could have either sat on my hands and tred water with an ugly deficit or adopt a pragmatic approach and resort to plan (b) and buy into a high profile stock and trade it if possible. had long decided that if RT launched a new venture that had legs then I'd buy in. Hesitated at first, becuase news was scarce, but as a picture formed decided to get in. If I was to sell my 2,101,485 tommorow my deficit here including an earlier 10k trade would be completely wiped out.
I am not gloating but pointing out perhaps how easy it is for posters to lose track of opportunities based on grey facts and bitter recriminations that may satisfy the posters frustration but also influence others to join an in essay band wagon of hate. I'll say again, RT made mistakes but any guy that has the ability take companies from fledgling to near billion pound enterprises was always going to get 32k of my hard earned bread. I can now look at Quindell in a different light thanks to DAN. It's a win win. 50k paper profit made in a short while, with the expectation of significantly more upside to come. Quindell returns cash possibly in August and Telematics kicks in.
I'm always reminding people who ask about investing, to steer clear of the silly arguments that might influence your investment strategies. The mission was to redress the deficit and here.
