To see some positive news feeds coming from EDL. The fuel tankers arrived and is priming the rocket for launch. We should see this share start triple in the next 6 months albeit with the power station feasibility assessment and the JV announcements. Agree with you though Freddie, it's likely they are all part of any JV. GLA
the first line of the RNS says "Edenville Energy plc (AIM:EDL), the coal focused African energy exploration and development company". I.e, we're already a development company, doesn't she know this?!?!?!
Well all I know is this guy has industry experience and contacts, and they could of just paid him as a consultant and said goodbye to him. Now he's a (non-exec) director.
Apparently "I am delighted that Arun, who was initially engaged as a consultant to the Company to help us evaluate coal to power options, has agreed to join the Board having seen the potential for the Company during his site visit and desk-top studies relating to coal to power prospects in Tanzania."
So he goes off to TZ to have a look (at what??)and then suddenly Edenville so hey, glad you like the recent jolly to TZ, stop being a consultant, and we'll put you on books JUST BECAUSE YOU LIKE THE VIEW!!, give you a salary, a pension, annual leave blah blah and we'll get rid of the bloke that took us to AIM - really!!! That doesn't wash with me. Maybe if I say to the people I work with, hey you're doing a great job, make me a director they'll do the same - I think not.
More to this than meet the eye, especially getting rid of Simon to employ the consultant!!
Freddie, that's exactly how I read it too, which kinda says to me that the JV is going to happen shortly :) Feeling a lot more positive here after this weeks announcements. First time in a long time I see this as a strong buy :)
