Larry did not acquire the acreage - Paul welch did. Larry has not released the CPR (over a year late) and only now has he really explained the reasons for it being late. The BOD is now listening. I suspect out how new significant shareholders are having a very positive influence in the BOD. One thing is now for sure - #mauritania has world class acreage and it's just a matter of time before we farm out and turn the drill bit to find oil. The well calibration is very good and cairn are sharing their seismically from the huge Senegal oil find with Chariot. £1bn+ one day .. No doubt in my mind, Larry therefore can stay and finish the job ...
Do we still think Larry should resign or is his cautious strategy of capital discipline, risk management and 'fast following' accepted as sound leadership now that the price has increased? Are any of those investors still a long way underwater now of the opinion he should have put the house on the 3.15 at Kempton?
I would agree that he should still comb that hair, trim that beard and try not to look so bloody weird.
