If, and I mean IF, all that happens, and we get first gas from Nervesa 1 (first gas now says 2015, it used to say mid 2015 I think) as well, imagine the news flow. We will be getting RNS on average every fortnight IMO! Fwiw I think something pretty significant is going to have to change to make all this possible. Not least the bureaucracy! This has to improve beyond recognition. There is also a lot of funding need. ( Antrim £10m cash fund hoped for?) And farm outs on at least 2 projects. This would make for an incredibly exciting 2015. But I just can't see me this time next year looking back and thinking well that all happened and went according to plan. I see three possible outcomes...
It all happens as stated
It all happens as stated but by the end 2016/17
Seismic shift for whatever reason. New funding/takeover/merger/selling of asset/projects outside Italy...
I am confident that by my original target exit at 2017 things will be very rosy, but will take probably that time at least to get there. I await the new website with interest for any further clues!
"The journey continues during 2015 with the drilling of three appraisal wells (a well addressing the Southern lobe of the Nervesa discovery, a long reach deviated well addressing the Laura discovery and a well addressing the Santa Maria Goretti discovery), and one exploration well – Badile. The Badile gas prospect, onshore Po Valley in North Italy, is the largest and most strategic of our Italian assets with a gross best estimate NPV10 of Euro 486 million. It is our intention to farm out and then drill Badile mid 2015 with a view to capturing the upside NPV, which exceeds US$2 billion, and then move onto Zibido (a twin prospect, world-class in its own right, on the same licence)."
It no longer says underneath that it was updated in August 2014. And I think it is the first time is mentions the second Nervesa drill being done in 2015. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
The odd thing about this to me is that if you are a Sound oil shareholder, that relies wholly on official announcements, you wouldn't know that our offer was rejected. Surely you wouldn't have to rely on other research?
