no not really....well unless you like talking about what if's and maybe's or perhaps's then i suppose you are right, and lets face it even if and when we discover oil, we still have to get it out of the ground at a commercailly viable cost...its all good and well finding it but if market factors conspire against getting it out then you are in the same position as people on XEL at the min...having been in the high 120's but now back down to high 20's even with oil!!!!!!!!!!....i mean don't get me wrong...i would like nothing more than my investment to finally come to fruition...but i honestly don't see it happening anytime soon...perhaps 2016-17 will be our yrs...

So Kosmos finding a massive gas find just down the road from chariots acreage while they continue drilling to target depth for a 2bn bbl oil prize and cairn finding one of he largest recent oil discoveries in the same geo as Chariot and Morocco next month with the same drill ship is nothing to talk about ? Lol

I can understand your frustration, I feel the same but Mauritania is our last hope to be honest and the news should be very near as the three year licence period is up soon. Chariot will have to renew with a drill commitment otherwise they will have to relinquish or reapply, which may reduce equity like what happened with the Namibian centrals. I am extremely annoyed with the situation just like you but I am relying on good news in regards to Mauritania otherwise not only would it be the end of Larry as CEO but the future survival of the company will also be in doubt as cash will run out eventually.

Would be a good partner for Block C19 in Mauritania, they are partnered with Cairn in Senegal

You could be right on Mohameddia and Loukos - different risk profile to Rabat - different target types - gas as compared to oil
