MrJimv "Well the power station could still get connected this year "
Jim this is precisely the sort of comment I am talking about. Now is this a ramp or are you taking a wild guess ? Please explain to me where you think VOG is going to get 20MW of gas power generator set this year? Are they going to import it ? Is the electricity generating company going to buy a 20mw set ? Has the power generating firm already bought one and got it on site ? If VOG plan to import one then no way they can get it in and commission it before year end particularly if the gensets they imported are still stuck. And how many qualified engineers do they have available to work on all these gensets at the same time. That is plain logic. But notice how all those bits are missing from the "targets" vog toss at their investors. So vog's recent meeting took place a few days ago. How come no feedback on this their most important and largest potential taker of gas ? Now if you phoned VOG and asked them about this subject would you report the correct story on this board? Or would you decline to post it if it didn't sound good ?
Well the power station could still get connected this year also some Gensets ,it may not reach the 12 scuffs but could reach 8 scuffs , anyway I was only posting what the company had said it would have done , John Scott and Kevin Foo said 12 scuffs , but then Dangote wasn`t on time with their factory or the foundry so it put targets back a bit maybe a couple of months , what we do know is the pipeline is in and ready to connect , we never new about the power station till only the other week back , yeah I am still very positive on VOG , they have done wonders in Cameroon and soon enough we will be rewarded for it .
Grimms policy has,IMO, been to let vog overstretch themselves go bankrupt, and allow himself to pick up the pieces without having done any of the development work. VOG have been on the financial brink several times, but have survived with rights issues etc and still we find Grimm playing the delaying tactics to drain VOG if possible. Well it hasn't worked, and VOG's credibility will rise on a monthly basis with more gas connections and sales. This has made Grimm start a new arbitration re the extra acreage which was given up without his approval (so he says). I reckon he has not achieved what he wanted with the recent arbi and being the stubborn *** he is, is just continuing his harrassment as a face saver. Could be totally wrong, but that is my take on the situation, and time will tell.
