Thanks for that - US Retail figures ahead of expectations can only help the SP - Good Luck All for tomorrow - will not add further to my previous couple of postings - overall, quite exciting times should lie ahead for the patient investor - Cheers - Rory -
consolidation at this level is great to see. The shorts closing out 13m at around this price was great to see. The pessimism and buyers waiting on the sidelines are all great to see.
I'm not expecting fireworks this week and I'm now prepared to hold through to May. It's a frustration as I watch fast cash being made elsewhere as the FTSE250 rallies though I do think DXNS has legs to be savouring for later this year.
barclaykid I think kind of nailed it. This just doesn't feel like it's going to explode as some traders might well hope. I'll admit, I'm a DXNS trader cum investor having initially built a stake in anticipation of the Dec IMS.
Now I recognise the value of paying down those bonds, adding to the bottom line and paying a divi. These will be the catalysts that rightly drive DXNS to +70p and a decent ROI for recent buyers.
Dxns Gp should be back in the 'Black' within a year do you all not think ? ... taking into consideration the ring fenced 60mil for Pix. A steady 50p SP or theirabouts for a few days now .. might ooze up a tad tomorrow and a little futher Thursday with a slight re-trace after ... Can't see why anyone would be selling at present ... Comments please !!
I can see your point here Kid. Though I feel that the MM have been holding this price back since the last update/ statement. I think any good news on Thursday will send Dixons up 3-6% on the day. Nearly every day since there has been quite a larger % of buys compared to sells. MM are being cautious.
Expect results to be outstanding, significant upward price movement followed by a slight retrace.
There is truth in the words of our resident man of wisdom, The Knowing Kid, but his position is over cautious and he too often seeks knowledge from a half empty glass. Come on Rory, drink up and get ready to party.
Hi - You're a very cheeky boy - I'm not sure that it is about the law of averages - it is, sadly, just a real time fact - pressure on margins is the big worry for Dixons investors, of which I am certainly one - would prefer not to have to state such points, but it is soooo relevant to the issue - imagine there was no competition - their prices could be double and they would still sell much the same ! - GLA for the 16th - sticking by my caution of a possible downward trend, albeit temporary, following the results - Cheers - Rory -
