Production will be 2013!!!!!!
Mon 19:49
From RNS March 2013Ascot has provided the Company with a processing report for the Washplant tailings which commences with multi-gravity separation. As a result of the report produced by Ascot, the Directors believe that BMR can produce a concentrate containing not less than 40% zinc and lead combined, within the current calendar year. Such a concentrate would be suitable for immediate sale or for further processing

It is assessed that secondary processing, may beneficially increase the concentrate percentage and can also separate and recover other metals such as silver, cadmium and vanadium, known to be contained in the Washplant tailings. BMR intends to maximise value in the final product and Ascot's production team will be returning to Zambia in April to progress and develop the secondary processing procedures.

EPL has submitted its Mining and Processing Development Plan and its application for a Processing Licence to the relevant Zambian authorities. It is additionally currently preparing to submit its Environmental Management Plan so that all the necessary licences and permits will be issued and in place prior to the commencement of first production.

As soon as processing and sale of the Washplant tailings material is under way, Ascot will also be designing a processing plant for the Leachplant tailings and bringing forward proposals to mine and process the partly mined or un-mined ores in the former Kabwe mine itself.

I know most of us are prepared to wait but we are a lot lot closer to production than 2014. The material is on the ground the processing equipment is often ready assembled and the existing infrastructure is in place. I have seen a few more pic's recently and there has deffo already been some work done on the old plant.

imo MA does not have until the end of 2014 to get this to production and he knows it.

Things are going on behind the scenes here, lets hope we are futher down the road than we have been told.

.........If what we are led to believe about "robust economics" and production on several fronts is true of course.

End of 2014 seems another lifetime away to me, I really hope it is before then that such value can be outed. This year I'll be pleased to see double figures, and with what we are led to believe, we could easily do so.

I agree. By the end of 2014 would be good, although prepared to wait beyond that if necessary. 20p would be a nice, round £120k profit......that'll do Donkey, that'll do.

Yes, the economics are or at least more likely to be robust enough to allow the Company to use the word "robust".

I would hope to see any PFS at the same time as news of production starting, not after production has started, because it could then well look like they are making it up as they are going along eh? Surely not. Lol.

BMR RNS are all about semantics and reading between the lines. For example "robust economics" - if you know what the economics are, why not tell the market?
OR
we wont know exactly how robust the economics are until we produce the first concentrate but they are robust enough to still allow good profit at lower percentage of concentrate.
In which case we dont get to see these robust economics until production starts. I suspect its the latter?
